It's a shame that I have to mark this as a one star. The location is beautiful. There are two major negatives, on day 4 of our holiday, I went into my purse. We had left our UK purses at the bottom of our rucksacks,(of course we should have put them in the safe but I don’t expect house keeping to go rummaging through our bags), which were underneath a load of clothes etc on the sofa, I noticed £40 was missing from my purse & asked my partner to check, in which over £100 was missing. We luckily had put our passports, lira etc into the provided safe. I noticed this on the Wednesday evening and started doubting that it was missing. So on Thursday, we tore our room apart in hope that someone hadn't stolen the money. We had no joy. I reported this to reception (the guy was lovely and empathetic) & explained that he had to do a report to his manager and to pop down the next day. I left a do not disturb sign on our room as I didn't want any staff in there for obvious reasons. On our return that evening, our room had been cleaned. I went to see about an update the next day, was told that the manager had a day off and to come back tomorrow. Which I did. As of yet, I have had no communication with anyone from the senior management team to as much as even acknowledge this. Whilst i am aware we should have locked our uk money/purses in our safe, it genuinely didn't cross our minds. Stealing is stealing. Be very aware and it is clear the management do not care. In addition to this, there are a lot of stray cats. On our last day, we seen a ginger one which was clearly in distress and had a massive gauge on his right eye. On leaving, I asked the male receptionist (not the nice one whom I complained to about the theft), I said since we were leaving in half an hour, could I leave my email address and I will pay for vet treatment for the cat if they could take it to the vet, there were 2 young lads on reception and one kind of half laughed and then said the owners take care of the cats. Now, I know this isn't true as whilst playing tennis we came across a Mother and 5 baby kittens under a bush next to the tennis court. On two different days, the water bowl was bone dry and had no food out. We had bought a lot of kitten food and left it next to where the kittens were. Also, if the owners cared for these cats, the would simply neuter them. Basically, very dismissive of our will to help this poor injured cat. I have given it 4 days since our return before posting this to see if management would acknowledge the theft. Of course, we know the money is gone but it would be nice to know that they are taking it seriously. All in all, nice views, staff generally friendly, beds rock hard and rooms need updating, balconies are tiny. Area is out of the way and you need a taxi to go anywhere but conveniently located half way between Olu Deniz and hisarno. Given our experience overall, this would be lower if reviews would allow. Also, it would be a great idea if there was a box to donate money to around the resort for neutering/vet/feeding for the cats. As most of the residents are British on the resort, I'm sure they would raise enough funds to help the local charities in the area that try to do their best with these wee babies.

Back for our 13th stay (June and September) at Tonoz and every year it gets better. Rooms furnishings, Breakfast room and Reception have been revamped and a few new Balcony rooms have been added facing the strip. Reception Staff are just lovely, accommodating and couldn’t ask for better customer service – well done to you all. Restaurant/Bar – Meal and drinks 10/10 and the new menu is amazing – just wish you would bring back Tonoz Garden Steak. Only concern is the chefs need to take more notice when an allergy has been disclosed to them, at times it was ignored, the restaurant staff were so apologetic to us and we could tell they were cross with the chefs. We noticed afew lazy staff standing around, 1 on his phone a lot, but MASSIVE shout outs to Yusuf, Ahmet, Murit, Ibo, Bilal, Eren, Arda and Ali whose customer service, always running round taking orders, checking everyone was ok and if anything else was needed was 10/10, we went to bed smiling every evening Gelato Bianco – the 2 guys who run this are brilliant also, both friendly and we enjoy our scoop of ice cream pool side every evening and evening after our evening walk Cleaners – These ladies, I don’t have enough words, their customer service, attention to detail and smiles are outstanding, they are a pleasure to see and hug everyday. Entertainment – We didn’t really like, the 2 girls perform the same songs twice a week, so when they were on. we went elsewhere. It would be nice to have a variety of good singers😊 Only thing I would suggest to improve on is to have the poolside umbrella/parasol stands cleaned when they are put out in the morning, I always wiped mine over as it was sticky/dirty from the use the day before and looked alittle unsightly. Last shout out is to Riza, Denizer and Errol, thanks for always making sure our holiday is the best it can be. We look forward to returning again twice next year

Absolute joke. Arrived at 5am to be told they had over booked and it was a small double bed for three adults or Another hotel out of the area. Reception ladies were rude and not helpful and the bar manager was an idiot that eyed up my daughters 24/7. All the bar staff were respectful and friendly. Back packers hotel only.

Wow, what a hidden Gem, we found this hotel whilst staying in another hotel in oludinez and decided to have 4 nights here, we were given a room with a large bslcony overlooking the strip, with outside table and chairs. Our room consisted of two bedrooms and modern bathroom, all very modern and spotlessly clean. The aircon was fab, and had a unit in each room, which the cleaner kept immaculate. The staff here treat you like family, and could not do enough for you. Breakfast was laid out with great presentation. I cannot fault this quirky boutique style hotel. The pool area is like a spa with running cascade of water from the backdrop, lovely quiet and relaxing! We loved our stay here and would highly recommend. Will definently return. Thank you.😊

Stunning hotel with breathtaking beautiful views. Very friendly staff who offered me and my husband exceptional service, everyone around us showed great hospitality! Also the front desk reception staff, was very friendly and offered exceptional service! The food from the restaurant downstairs was very tasty - Ideal for a short break; The beach is just a 5 minute walk if you want to go for a dip! The most stunning beach! Perfect hotel to stay in if you want to walk out and shop! Theres also supermarkets located next door and nearby as well as the market/shops which is just outside the hotel :)

Staff, service and location were absolutely amazing! Everything wqs very conventiently located, including the beach which was literally a stone throw away. The main street is bustling with lights and laughter and has a very vibrant nightlife. Will recommend to anyone looking for a break by the beach.

Lovely 4 day stay. This hotel is small and in a convenient position for everything. Although our room was on the front of the hotel we heard no noise from the restaurants and shops outside. Our room was a standard double, compact but comfortable with everything you needed. Hairdryer was the usual on the wall one that didn’t blow much, I always take my own. Beds were firm but comfy, only thing strange was no top sheet just a cover. I’m sure if i’d asked they would have given us more sheets but it was fine. There were spare blankets in the wardrobe as well. Don’t expect many channels on the TV, we only tuned it on once though as we weren't in the room much. AC was great and shower was fine. Although there aren’t many sun beds, there was always one free any time of day, I think most people go to the beach. None of this getting up early to put your towels on the bed here. Pool temperature was cold but fine once you were in. Early June is a good time to go as it was quiet everywhere. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and food served off the menu was good. Breakfast was adequate but missing some things like yogurt and decaf coffee. Milk for cereal was not kept cold either, so I stuck with toast. There is a supermarket below the hotel and fridge in the room if you are stuck for something to eat. Beach is just at the bottom of the road and the locals are friendly.

1) My cab left me 150mt away from the hotel because it is a pedestrian shopping zone and we had DRAG our 2 suitcases on cobble stones "like path" for 15 mins. 2) Upon arrival had to climb 20+ steps to the reception on the first floor ...Our room was 1 floor above the reception ( another 12-15 steps more climb. Thus going out 3 or 4 x a day to beach , shopping, resto, night life etc was a challenging task for a senior citizen of 70+ YES down 35 steps and back up 4 x a day. 3) After 15 hours travel time from Europe to Turkey (left home at 3.00 am , arrived hotel at 18.30).... Even after giving them my visiting card showing my status "President of a FINANCIAL COMPANY , (they did not take into consideration )I was VERY VERY Badly /disrespectfully greeted.!! .After the check in formalities they wanted IMMEDIATE PAYMENT....I requested for some time to see the room and freshen up then come down to pay...to our surprise WITHIN 3 MINS the receptionist was knocking at my door for payment ....I said give me time to change and will come down ... FOR THEM "NO WAY " different staff members came knocking at my door 4 x in 12- 15 mins . I am "genius 3 Level " visiting/travelling to about 12-20 hotels per year on 3 or 4 retirement holiday trips per year !! Never , NEVER seen such HUNGER for money from such pathetic poorly educated cheap people. Finally I gave up because my partner asked me to so we can be at peace and call home informing we arrived... I wrote to director and put in suggestion box suggesting to check the clients on Linkedin or google b4 arrival ...but no apology was received from them....reason I WILL NOT FORGET NOR FORGIVE THEM now. 4)The room was too small for a "deluxe DOUBLE room" . ABOUT 17sqm 2 big Bags got in the way 2 hand carries beside the bed ...difficult to get up in the night for toilet ..MY mistake I did not check SQM of room the word "double room & DELUXE was deceiving. 5) Bathroom was small but acceptable..had no elct/shaving socket ONLY LIKE was the location . Breakfast was "ok " donuts and patisseries were not of "good quality", were always hard and not soft with butter as we like in proper cake shops in Europe. ...this was home made and hard to digest.. had first day and tried different ones for 2 or 3 days and left unfinished on plate each time. hot food had little variey but was acceptable for a cheap 3 * hotel.. Shopping was expensive better prices in Tuesday market got some items at 1/3 price tn the market and a bag at 1/4 price restaurants were DILUTING ALL COCKTAIL DRINKS WITH WATER....and priced were expensive 12-15 euros per drink. best drink beer only as most of tourists (British, Russian etc..) were doing
