Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Nice hotel apartments are spacious my apartment was literally 10ft away from the pool. Perfect Room service for cleaning everyday. Would say not ideal for family with children there is nothing in this hotel for kids. All inclusive food was ok drinks were only Vodka and lager any other drinks had to be paid for. Bar staff were friendly but hotel manager and other staff were not nice. Ideal location 5 mins from the strip and 10 min walk to beach. Would stay here again

We are at this hotel as I write this review, and can confidently say it is one of the best 3 star hotels we have stayed in Olu Deniz. The hotel is very clean, the food which is "TURKISH" ( big surprise! you are in Turkey!!) is plentiful and very well cooked and there is something for all tastes if you bother to try it. Drinks are local spirits, Efes beer which is very acceptable, and soft drinks. Don't come to this hotel if you want fish and chips. Stay in England!! Staff cannot do enough for you, and are very friendly. Very relaxed atmosphere, but some nights a bit noisy from the bars on the strip, which is to be expected as the hotel is in the main area. Fabulous hotel, will definitely return to this lovely friendly hotel.

The location is close to the beach which is great! The biggest disadvantage of this hotel is the neighbor - Cherry bar & pub, which plays music after 1 am, despite the rules of the government. I tried to talk to them about this, they suggested me to call the police, what I did the next day when it repeated. This is not suitable for the families. Stay away from this hotel if you want to sleep calmly during the night. Very disappointing experience.

The hotel was clean and the pool is decent and the maids work very hard, although that's as good as it gets. The music around the pool is so loud it's unbearable, and you can't relax and some of the local rapping music contains explicit language so was very embarrassing with the children. The food was poor and the breakfast also consists of broccoli and cauliflower and no pancakes, despite a notice saying they offer omelette and pancakes! The bar man Kadir was very good and polite, and our cleaning lady worked tirelessly and was lovely. The rest just seemed uninterested and at times rude, and offered no smiles or greetings when walking around the hotel. They speak little English and use a mobile phone to translate conversations. I have been to Turkey many times in the last 15 years, but the prices of eating is now expensive and the atmosphere seemed very different and the the locals just seemed interested in only offering a warm reception if you gave tips and be warned to ensure you check prices before you pay as my daughter was charged £12 for a small pancake! Wouldn't return to Marcan Beach and won't hurry back to Turkey.

Stayed here for one week in July. We had stayed here before, about 12 years ago, before the renovations so we were hoping for a good time. This is a small family run all-inclusive hotel and in itself is nice, pool area lovely and loads of sunbeds and parasols. No one ever reserved them so all very relaxing. However, they played music at the pool at a deafening volume so if you're thinking of going here, best take ear defenders! We asked them to turn it down and the Management asked them also and they did for a while then up it would go again. The guests were mostly couples with very young families and no one else seemed to mind the music so maybe if everyone was happy with it then this isn't the hotel for us. The room we had really needed updating, the shower was ok but again very dated. The air conditioning wasn't too good either and in the extreme heat it meant we had some sleepless nights! It was clean though. A new block has been built here so I imagine those rooms would be much more updated. The staff at this hotel are absolutely lovely, and also the Management are great, so helpful and friendly. There was only my husband and I and one other British couple there, all the rest were mostly Russian and Turkish so the hotel really catered for them. The food was very basic so we ate out quite a bit. There was a lad cooking omelettes at breakfast time and they were really nice. The beer was ok - Efes. I'm not sure what else there was as I don't really drink. You could help yourself to hot and cold soft drinks at the bar. The hotel is ideally located - right in the middle of the main area for the shops, restaurants and bars and the beach is just at the top of the road, a couple of minutes walk. Olu Deniz is a lovely resort and just so friendly. All in all, an interesting week. Lovely people, lovely area but probably wouldn't go back to this hotel unless it was completely renovated. The Manager did say they were looking to do this for next year so we'll see. But would like to thank the Management and staff for their help and friendships and for making us feel so welcome.

Very quaint hotel small double room but adequate maid service good keep room clean changed towels daily and beds made up daily surrounding areas kept clean and tidy. Pool area small but nice always sunbeds and parasols available. Very close to main strip lots of bars restaurants and shops beach 5min walk. Now the reason for 2☆. all inclusive package was the worst we have ever experienced in 18 years of travelling. terrible food it was of very bad quality very little selection hot food was luke warm, food was either not labelled or labelled incorrectly so if you had allergies or was vegetarian or vegan you would of really struggled to be honest you would not of gone hungry if you just ate salad or vegetables for breakfast, lunch and dinner but who wants to do that on holiday. AI drinks were only soft drinks beer raki gin vodka tea and coffe anything else you had to pay for. In our week that we stayed the following ran out staff did not replenish just said no its finished! White wine at dinner, coffee machine at breakfast, milk for cerals at breakfast, soft drink dispenser at pool bar, ice cream cones so basically only all inclusive till they ran out. Only a few staff spoke or understood English so most of the time you just got a shrug of the shoulders! Music round pool area was the same all day every day and was played very loud No entertainment at all Turkey is no longer a cheap destination to go to so we spent a lot more money then expected as we ate out more then we would of wanted to! Would definitely not come back
