Oludeniz is a wonderful place. Hotel Katre in Oludeniz is a small cozy hotel with neat comfortable rooms, except for the basement bunk bedrooms, which are not livable. Very friendly staff, especially Mehmet, who works in the bar - very clever, diligent, smiling, pleasant young man. Thanks to the warm attitude, our family felt like at home. The beautiful gentle sea, which is nearby, is beyond praise! Hope to see you soon, Oludeniz! NATALIA, Moscow

I stayed here for a week in July with my teenager and we had a fantastic holiday. Yes it’s a basic small hotel complex but I did my research before hand and knew that it didn’t have any entertainment on site and only offered a small selection of AI drinks. The breakfast was limited but it did have a freshly made egg station offering omelettes and fried eggs plus freshly made pancakes and the terrace area was a lovely shaded spot to watch the paragliders. We ate out most nights but that was our plan. It’s very clean and we had small room with two single beds which had plenty of storage and a large bathroom which was fine for us.. The towels aren’t changed regularly but if you ask them to they will. We had a late return flight but after check out we left our luggage there for the day and were allowed to use the large reception bathroom to change in before our pick up. The staff were all lovely and helpful and we had no issues with them at all. The location was fantastic and within a quick walk to the strip and the beautiful beach. For the price I would happily go back again.

Hit and miss hotel. The food was good and not bland at all as some people have been saying. However all the alcohol is watered down and not worth drinking. The strip in OkuDeniz is just as bad meaning everyone eneded up drinking on the beach. Be aware they cut your bands off when you check out so can't eat or drink if you are leaving after 12. Rooms are small and dingy - we were in a basement room which had a double and single but way too small. Staff can't be bothered until the management are there watching them

Not a four star hotel. My friends and I stayed here in August and although the pool area is nice and relaxed but the hotel rooms need updating desperately! Maid service was shocking, we kept having to beg for towels our rooms were hardly cleaned (we told the front desk about this and they were still not cleaned). No gym although this was advertised when we booked. Food options and bar options were also very limited, thank you to Kai at the bar who was very friendly though :)
In terms of location the hotel is great but I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to stay here or stay here again myself due to the poor facilities.

I have never ever had to give a bad review ever so very disappointing im having to do so with this hotel . The rooms were ridiculous we booked for 3 adults and a child the boys room you had to crotch down to get into your bed ! The rooms were dirty and the bathroom was disgusting had black hairs all in the sink when we arrived. The air con kept going off because it couldnt handle 2 people charging there phones at the same time so tripped the electric constantly. The food was awful souvh so we stopped eating in there after day 3 as the boys had a bad tummy so ate out in bella gusto which was 5 star food and friendly staff , unlike the hotel staff appalling attitudes especially a bar man calked cadeer beyond rude . The beds round the pools constantly had towels on them so could never sit round the pool . Meant to be 4 star hotel on love holidays but was infact a 3 star hotel . Tried to speak to the manager who reckon he never understood us . Appalling place to stay sorry to say . Only good thing odeniuz is a gorgeous area just please pick a good hotel .

Really friendly hotel, great staff, the food is good quality and lots of it, the hotel is very clean and friendly.

So this hotel is probably one of the cheapest but best value for money all inclusive hotels in the area

5 minute walk from the beach

I’ve read some bad reviews on here but it seems very much improved from last year

The transfer from Dalaman airport got us to the hotel around 1am where we were met by the lovely reception and the doorman who doesn’t speak much English but is such a nice guy!

We were show to our family room which has main bedroom and small side room for the kids with a small balcony

The rooms are basic with one air con unit but clean and functional and beds made each day

To pool is a decent size and well maintained.

Food is Turkish usually 2-3 hot items and all of the salads and sides you could eat plus evening bbq and deserts

The staff are very friendly and attentive always happy to chat…
The manager is lovely

Bar drinks in AI package are Efes, Vodka, Raki, Pepsi Lemonade, Cherry and orange no diet drinks.
cocktails with the usual brands are available and very well priced

Never had had an issue with mixer quantities as last poster stated but then we always make a point to chat with the staff and leave a well deserved Tip

Checkout is at 11 where all services and WiFi stop - we paid for a late checkout which is a bit pricy at £50 but week worth it

Massive thanks to the lovely chap on reception who let me use his phone hotspot to access the internet

As I said……. Really friendly hotel

Let's start with the good points... Great location, close to all other amenities, Beach, bars and restaurants. The pool area was lovely, calm and relaxing and met some lovely people. Shout out to kai the barman, who knew exactly how we wanted our vodka (not drowning in Lemonade).

Now for the bad points.... The room I had booked and paid for an upgrade was the worst room I have ever stayed in. Bathroom was filthy, yellow Toilet seat, cracked tiles, flooded floor around Toilet, no cover on the flush, I couldn't even find it on the first day. Maid service was hit and miss only had clean towels twice in the 10 days we stayed there,so when they questioned a tip they were told to go forth!! The food was sometimes edible but couldn't eat most of it so ate out alot at some gorgeous places. The staff were ok but some were really miserable and I did find communication a little hard at times so just smiled and waved.

Would I stay here again? Erm in a word, NO CHANCE! Go back to oludeniz, absolutely!

This hotel really needs to listen to it's guests and give it a serious makeover and it would be a wonderful place and they could charge more. It just needs some tlc by someone who knows what they are doing.

Me and my friend have just returned back from this hotel and I have to say it's the worst place I have stayed.
We were all inclusive and it was that bad we ended up eating and drinking out every night.
The hotel bar was terrible the only drinks you could get was red and white wine, efes beer, vodka and raki and soft drinks. Your screwed if you don't like any of that.
We went for breakfast one morning and we ended up walking out I don't think the sausage have ever been sausage in its life.
The rooms were clean but very dated and the wardrobes in the room didn't smell very good it made all our clothes smell dirty.
We did have the cleaners come in and make the beds but they didn't leave many towels as you needed one on the floor when you came out the shower as it was like a skating rink. The pool area was lovely though when you could get a sun lounger that is.
We paid for late check out £40 as we weren't getting collected till 6pm on the day of departure to be told that yes we could have check out but we could only get drinks till 12 midday and then the reception cut out bands off!
The WiFi is absolutely shocking it was hit and miss to weather it would work and we were told that once we went into the room it would cut off. I've never stayed anywhere you couldn't get WiFi in your room.
The hotel says that there is entertainment I'm still waiting for that to arrive as there was nothing in sight.

The hotel is in a lovely location and could be made really nice with some improvements. But I wouldn't recommend staying here untill these are done

Stayed at Katre hotel in the first week of the summer holidays.
We arrived late at night around 1 am. The friendly receptionist (Halit) booked us in and took care of everything.
I had requested that we would not be allocated basement rooms because I had read bad reviews about those rooms.
As we needed 3 rooms, we did get one basement room which my son took. This was in Block B at the back of the hotel. We had 2 more rooms at the front of the hotel. Both with a balcony. The basement room turned out to be very good. It had an upgraded bathroom and was very clean and comfortable and absolutely did not smell mouldy or damp!
My room didn't have an upgraded bathroom yet so was a bit old and tatty but it was fine. Would be nice to have an upgrade sometime.
The 3rd room. Did have a nice new bathroom.
The pool is gorgeous and very clean. As it closed nightly at 7 pm to get cleaned.
We didn't use the pool much though (only once) as we preferred going to the beach which is just a 5 min walk from there, Oludeniz beach, beautiful turquoise amazing.
And we did some other activities (don't buy tours online as there are many tour operators near the hotel on the way to the beach and you can barter a bit with them. I recommend Tigersson Travel.

It's an all inclusive hotel so you can eat all your meals there. Outside the restaurant there is a grill and in the mornings you can collect freshly cooked pancakes from there (American style) or an omelette cooked to your taste.
Inside there are boiled eggs, fresh white and brown Baquette type slices. Sausages beans sliced meats fruits etc.
Lunch and dinner also gives a wide variety of options. We all enjoyed the food a lot. I expected to go out for a meal just to have a change but we actually never did we liked it there too much :-)
All the staff (the waiters, the bar staff, the receptionist are all very friendly, special thanks for Halit who really helped a lot with my WiFi. Something which is the only frustrating thing about the hotel although it's also been good not to be glued to the phone.

Luckily, today left this nasty hotel, all week the room was running water in the toilet, not stopping, to complain, asked, and does that stop you? Close the door, the bathroom smells like mold and heat like a bathhouse, apparently because of this, people are running, and constantly changing rooms,as in each of the problems, first I was put in building C,apparently the staff rooms, for one night, they with everyone this practice, the room adjoins the road and the public garbage dump,it smelled awfully of garbage, and at 4am I was woken by the clanging of unloaded containers, pillows terrible,a clump of wattle falling inside,I slept on a rolled up towel and my down jacket! The towels are grey, old torn in places! Meat is practically non-existent, traces between cold potatoes digested and pasta and rice! The area is small, but justice must be noticed pretty, many colors ,but relaxation do not get ,all the time the sound of worn pool system and electrics, from the sea is really 600 meters, wine cheapest watered beer ,sleepy and hammy girls at the reception, and it is all for 75 euros a night!!! I would never go to this hotel if I even paid money to me!!!

No kettles in the rooms. The food isn’t bad, but it’s not aimed at British people. It’s a Turkish all inclusive. This is a gem of a hotel
