Fantastic hostel, great advice on tours and trips, very clean and very secure. Fantastic private rooms.
The only negative was that the rooms didn't have good WiFi (on the fourth floor anyway). You had to go to reception for wifi.
Great location close to the main city road and nice walk to must-see destinations. Breakfast is a small additional cost, but well worth it. The rooms are definitely the best I've stayed in while traveling, and there is a great social area on the ground...More

We stayed in a private room over a weekend in January. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day, had a TV and aircon. There was some noise from the street at night (Argentinians seem to party until 6am) but nothing ear plugs didn’t block out...More
This place is a bit of a mixed bag. I’m confused why it gets such great reviews on here as well as hostelworld. Perhaps this is the standard of hostels in Buenos Aires? There’s definitely a gap in the market for someone to exploit if...More
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique
shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.

I do not speak Spanish either but had no trouble speaking English . I came from the airport by a bus/ taxi. Reasonably priced. I recommend you send an email to the hostel with your questions as they were very responsive... More
