staff helpful, 2 computer for guests, excellent breakfast, cozy and colorful room and when you go around in the hotel, you can see a funny boca better than the touristic Boca zone. We enjoyed the nice and relaxing terrace on top durign the hot summer. If you need, you can make washing machine for 20 pesos. San Telmo is charming...

Choose a hotel in Buenos Aires for a long time. Chose the hotel Ayres Portenos Tango Suita for three reasons: This hotel has its own style; Extremely convenient location; Price per room is not too big. This is true. Stylish hotel, located well - a 10-minute walk to Prezidet Palace, return to the hotel in the evening can be through...

Very much enjoyed our stay. Fabulously quirky hotel (breakfast with Maradona was a unique experience!) Staff were very helpful with information on where things were in BA and getting cabs, etc. However, if you want a good exchange rate for your USD, ask your taxi driver, he'll probably do you a better deal than the hotel.

This hotel is very central located, has very pretty complete wall covering paintings of tangodancers in the rooms and various statues of characteristic persons. In addition the hospitality of the staff can be expressed as very helpfull and warm. We stayed there 6 days, but it was very consistent with varying staff. Given the price, it was a great stay....

We stayed here for 3 nights. The receptionist was extremely helpful in booking shows and with general information. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in south america. The rooms and murals made the place more unique and the balcony from our room was excellent! Location is great and in walking distance to restaurants, pubs, cafes abd...

After seeing good reviews on tripadvisor, I decided to stay here both before and after my trip to Antarctica, along with arranging transfers with the hotel from both the international and domestic airport, which worked out well. The decor is unique, with paintings of La Boca district in the breakfast room and paper mâché figures throughout the hotel. Both rooms...

We had a nice stay at this Hotel. It's clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Only the naberhood is dangerous. Don't walk at night trough the San Telmo streets. Take a taxi even it's expensive. We had a bad experience when we walked back from the New year eve. From one couple of this...

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.

“We booked a triple room through hotels.com, but unfortunately the website gave incorrect information to the hotel. However, Cynthia worked very hard to accommodate our needs. I would suggest confirming your room type with the hotel if you book through a third party.”
