We had a nice week here although we saw that other (French?) guests had much bigger rooms than we settled for. Breakfast ok, but you have to ask what you want, some of the Argentinian girls really need to understand what you are looking for....More
Eccentric hotel and all the better for it in a bland and uniform world. The rules are all painted in vibrant colours, so if there is any particular shade you have an objection to, like bright red or purple, best to clarify that with them in...More
A last minute choice which turned to be the right one. Very cute hotel with very friendly service. Hotel is located in an old house. We had room 22 which is simply gorgeous. Although a.bit small, it has a great terrace with a jacuzzi. When...More
This small, 11 room, boutique hotel is at least one of the best finds I've ever made. Returning from a 19 day Antartica expedition I was exhausted and not altogether sure my Expedia reservation had gone through. Frederick greeted me in the early evening with...More

My partner and I booked a last minute room on the Rendez-Vous Hotel.

Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de
Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

HI: We stayed at the Rendez Vouz in March. That early in the morning it's probably about a 45 minute cab ride. You should have no problem getting a cab 24/7 from the Rendez Vouz. The cabs are on the street, but the staff at the Rendez Vouz is extremely helpful and there 24 hours, let them know and they can get you a reliable cab. Cost is about $20.
From my experience, 4:30 may not be early enough. We had a flight at 10 pm, got to the airport at 7pm. No kidding, it took us 2 hours just to check our luggage at American Airlines. Then security, etc. By the time we got to our plane, most passengers had already boarded. I don't know if that was an anomaly or not.
Enjoy the Rendez Vouz, great staff, great location.
