Exactly what we were looking for having arrived from long flight. Comfy clean bed and powerful warm shower. Staff very friendly. Located in centre of old downtown. Short walk/taxi to main sites. Very good value accommodation.

Review Scored on the basis of: 3-star downtown hotel with good prices available.

Good location in city centre within easy to of most tourist destinations and the metro. Staff were friendly and spoke just enough English for us to get by. WiFi was reasonably fast and had no device limit. They allowed us a late checkout without charge which was nice. Breakfast was small but sufficient. Nothing too amazing at any stage, but about as expected for a 3 star city hotel in this price range.

Images online definitely make it look more modern than it actually is. Room we had felt a lot more dated and worn, though clean and serviceable. Very dark due to facing internal light-well. Some images online may represent higher-grade room or partial refurbishment.

Pick for its location and pricing, not for the luxury!
Thank Tristavius

It is an older hotel that needs renovation if you get a room on the 5th floor and higher it is not bad. the breakfast is reasonably acceptable. The people at the front desk were very helpful. Remember you are downtown Buenos Aires and you must always keep in mind your safety. we found that walking on Esmeralda street to get into town was safer than Maipu.

My mom and 3 sisters stayed for almost a week. Once we arrived to our room in the 8th floor , we were surprised by how spacious the room was. We have a few recommendations though :
Switch to another floor cleaner bc it has a very strong odor that we had to open the window and door and asked for a glade spray.
Upgrade the heater, PLEASE! The heaters look like from a 80's movie. It makes a loud noise when on.
Improve your wifi network. The connection was terrible and we had to be calling reception to reset their router.
Otherwise, we had a decent stay. Staff was very kind and helpful. Location is unbeatable. Two blocks away from the Obelisco, bus stations and metro.

The pillows were badly stained, the headboard stained and filthy, the net curtain had multiple stains and were dirty. The bathroom had a cracked cistern; multiple marks on the toilet seat; the taps were worn away to the brass underneath. The shell sink had it's enamel worn away. No extractor in bathroom so ceiling paint flaking. The windows opened onto a light well containing all the air conditioning units. No natural light and air so bad we couldn't open the windows. Noisy at night with guests in the stairwells.
