Neighbourhood
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.

Great location, one block away from the entry to the Recoleta cemetery (yes, the entry of a cemetery is good location in Buenos Aires). Good residential area, close to a lot of restaurants and a commercial center. Large, comfortable rooms. Sumptuous breakfast. Reserved well in

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the centre of Buenos Aires. It is in a fabulous location but the best experience of all is the staff. I must say a huge thank you to Jesus, on the Front Desk, whose service was the best I have received throughout the world.

We arrived in Buenos Aires after 3 nights at Iguassu Falls in a pedestrian hotel to be treated to this fabulous room. Softest towels ever, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and tea maker greeted us. Very elegant hotel

The location of this hotel couldn't be better, there are so many places to visit near by without talking any kind of transportation, and even if you don't feel to walk... all points of interest are near by. The staff is super helpful, all of them from front desk to room service

The best option is to hire two cars. The cost is USD 45 aprox each car. Please send flight info and the front desk will gladly take care of your request. We look forward to your visit.

The hotel has a wheelchair ramp at the front entrance. The bell hops and front desk people are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms with bathtubs, that I have experienced, have steps going into the tubs that might be inconvenient for your purposes. Staff will readily help you tho and they have bathrobes if needed. Hope this helps. Stay on the backside of the hotel for less noise from the Main Street, Vincente Lopez, which is busy in rush hours.

You can either arrange a taxi at Buenos Aires airport (there is a very good booth and you can choose whichever service you like, I hear the best are Radio Taxi's. They are registered and there is no real problem with getting cheated), or alternatively book one in advance. I booked one in advance and it worked out well on a website called Suntranfers. They were the cheapest at about 40 euro, but I think if you just go to the wicket at BA airport, it will even be cheaper. BA is a great city. The hotel had great restaurant recommendations and the best Italian meal we had in many years was in a restaurant call Pecora Negro or something like that. Try it out!
