Nice property, and excellent staff. Not much English spoken (which is true of Buenos Aires generally), but we managed to figure things out. They arranged for us to be collected at the airport, as well as let us stow our bags at the hotel while we took a 3 day side trip to Mendoza. Internet was generally good, but could...

We booked here because friends had recommended it. The location was convenient for walking and transit. The room was great for 3 people (3 separate beds) with a kitchen and dining table. Everything was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be to ensure that the sliding doors to the balcony could be locked. I would...

The 24-hour front desk service was a plus because we arrived at 2am. The apartment was clean and spacious. There's a late night cafe around the corner where you can get delicious empanadas and steak. It's close proximity to many restaurants, shops and convenient stores. The Recoleta cemetery is close by as well. This is a great space in the...

Good location in Recoleta. The room was depressing facing out back; being there for a whole week, I would have preferred a room out front on a high floor. The balcony was dirty. It's a good place if you need a cheap place to leave your luggage and then do overnight side trips like to Colonia or Iguazu. I didn't...

I used the apart hotel for a 2 nights stay in Buenos Aires. I was given the room 901 at the front in floor 9. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, good Free Wifi. Location excellent for shops in Santa Fe Avenue but very noisy for my taste. I would rather be around Junin 1.400 or Azcuenaga 1.400 but...

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.

“Try for a room on the back side of the property (there's a bit less noise away from the street)”

“We were at the back of the hotel so can't comment on how noisy the street side might be.”

“I think the hotel has something like 14 floors. I was on 5 and it was too low: dark and depressing out back and in the front there can be a lot of traffic noise which should be better on a higher floor.”
