A new generation, the same essence: The Alvear Art Hotel emerges as an innovative proposal in Buenos Aires, backed up by the tradition of the Alvear Palace Hotel. Set among impressive trees, this new sample of the Alvear Experience opens the doors of its modern building in the heart of the financial, commercial, and cultural area of the city, offering excellent service, warm hospitality, the sophisticated comfort of its rooms, and the most advanced technology. The Alvear Art Hotel is located in a traditional area of Buenos Aires, declared a historical site - the San Martín Square, just steps away from elegant Santa Fe Avenue and famous Florida Street with their countless stores. It is strategically located a few blocks from the financial area and only five minutes from the new corporate district in Puerto Madero.

We had 2 half days to see all we could in Buenos Aires pre-cruise so wanted a place close to highlights. Booked an executive studio through Trip Advisor since reviews were good and it seemed to be in a good area. We were not disappointed. We arrived long before check-in but

We enjoyed our three nights at this hotel. It’s quite a distance from some of the tourist sites, but I was still able to walk to a couple of museums and the cemetery where Eva Peron is buried. The service is good, and they let us check in early after our overnight flight from

This hotel has great service. The roof top pool had an amazing view of Buenos Aires. The bell captain was very helpful and made sure everything went smooth. The breakfast was included with our room and was yummy and the servers were very attentive. The only thing that at this

I am a traveler, this is not “my hotel”. I believe the hotel website had an option to pay the hotel for transportation pickup. This of course would be more expensive then getting your own taxi at the airport.

Not sure I took a bus to the hotel. Not bad commute.

There is a full time attendant and a smallish pool that offer the option to turn on resistance jets to simulate lap swimming. The fitness center looked clean and well stocked but I only used the pool. The hotel is not in Recoleta but I preferred this neighborhood as the restaurants nearby were less touristy and everything was walking distance and felt safe.
