Outstanding location in Madero - an island paradise with the city right next door in walking distance- The hotel is superb - a rooftop glass enclosed pool that overlooks the city which made a very relaxing way to end each day after touring. The rooms have large balconies and are quiet as can be since the area of Madero is...

I love this hotel, which is located in a very safe clean upmarket area, where men walk their poodles, families of children go roller-blading, bunches of girls stroll out for a bite to eat in the pavement cafes. Very close to the beating heart of the city. The rooms are magnificent, service great, the decor to my taste at least!...

Great spot . We took the room with a view to the river . Modern, well kept . Nothing special but at the same time accommodating. We liked the location . The room was spacious and to our liking. Breakfast was good and the hotel offers a nice bar and has a good restaurant. Walking distance to the center.

Nice, quiet location in the Puerto Madero area of Buenos Aires. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Friendly staff. Rooms nicely appointed and comfortable beds. The bathrooms and toiletries could be a bit better.

Starting with a friendly greeting upon entering, all services were perfect. The rooms are generously sized and very comfortable with all the best amenities. The restaurant is excellent from breakfast to dinner. The bar and garden are a true delight in the busy city. The rooftop pool, spa and sun deck are like a true resort in the middle of...

Stayed here at the end of our cruise part of a group. The hotel is very modern and comfortable in a nice safe area. There was security guards in the entrance as well. We didn't use all the facilities as didn't have time. The breakfasts was adequate and coffee good. The bar area was very nice indeed and reasonably priced...

We visited this hotel twice - before and after going to see the Iguazu Falls. On both occasions we were allocated an excellent bedroom on the seventh floor with great views. Staff are courteous and helpful and we enjoyed the dinner we had there, but breakfast is a bit hit and miss - for some reason, the bread was always...

Stayed here 5 nights. Hotel clean but dated. Staff excellent. Breakfast OK. Nice bar. Swimming pool not great but OK. Close to good, not great, restaurants. Reasonably close to most attractions. Would stay here again.

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
When Hotel Madero was being designed, we wanted it to reflect the style and sophistication of the Puerto Madero neighborhood we call home.At Hotel Madero one of the main challenges with the design of our hotel in Buenos Aires was to be able to incorporate functional diversity with space unity, to provide for flexible usage of the space and to integrate each area easily.Hotel Madero Buenos AiresThe Argentine studio Abulafia Figoni Prado was hired to do the interior design of our hotel in Buenos Aires. The project incorporates current and evolving spaces, places where people really want to stay and to feel comfortable in their environs. The intention was to design a hotel in Buenos Aires with atmosphere, generating a rich interior architecture through a suggestive way of illumination, and combining rich materials and textures so that each of the spaces has its own identity. The acquisition of the contemporary art is also very significant. Paintings and sculptures were incorporated, most of them from local artists ... more   less
