Stayed at Soho suites a few nights in December. To start with, I found the front desk folks rather disinterested and not really courteous. They did not even offer to bring my luggage upstairs. The room was ok, no frill but as previously mentioned by other guests the level of noise in the hotel is really off the charts. One...

I was very excited to stay at this hotel as the reviews on TripAdvisor seemed great. Upon check in, the front desk told us breakfast was included in the price we paid. When we got to breakfast on the second day, we were turned away and told it wasn't included. The staff at the front desk are less than friendly,...

Clean, good-value hotel right in the heart of Palermo. 2 block from Plaza Serrano and 2 blocks from Plaza Armenia, location could not be better. Breakfast is not great and the elevator small, but the rooms are spotless and fresh.

I stayed here last week, unfortunatly I was not impressed with the hotel, the room decor was not very impressive and really did not live up to the standard of what is expected of a suite, It was very noisy in the rooms and could hear the cleaners and other guests all through the night. From the windows I got...

8/19-26/2012 Stayed at the Soho on and off last week. Staff very accomodating holding our excess luggage while we side tripped to Iguazu Falls, directing us to great restaurants and shopping in BA. All staff able to communicate in English. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, and bathrooms/showers had ample space and were in good working order. We were able to late...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

“Lower floors might be better for those who don't wish to wait for the only elevator. We didn't have a problem walking up and down 4 flights of stairs since we look at it as a workout. No gym, no pool but we had plenty of time to walk around the amazing city.”

“Fourth floor is great because it is further from street noise and closer to roof top terrace.”
