The rooms here are excellent; smart and stylish with large, comfortable double beds. Everything is spotlessly clean and the hotel is very quiet. The breakfast buffet was very good and pretty well in line with what you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Staff are welcoming and friendly and keen to be of assistance. The location is very central in Buenos Aires, literally around the corner from the restaurants and shops of Lavalle, and it's just a 10 minute walk to the Terminal Madero for the airport shuttle bus. Our only disappointment was that the reception area falls short of the overall standard of the hotel. It's a fairly small and uninviting area but they are clearly constrained by the parameters of the building.
Location was ideal to tour historic area and a very nice mall was nearby. Plenty of places to dine around the hotel. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. Service was excellent. Rooms were very nice.
Got to check in when we got here at nine thirty. They suggested a great restaurant twenty yards down the street. Room was clean, modern and large. The shower was awesome. Front desk was very helpful in finding hop on hop off. Shower products are great.
This well- located hotel was a highlight on my recent trip to South America. After a red eye flight from Lima my check in at 6am was seamless. Quiet, spacious room with black-out shades allowed me to catch up on some much needed rest. The pedestrian mall Florida Street is very close with a plethora of good restaurants. I would not hesitate to stay here should I return to BA.
We enjoyed our stay at 474 Buenos Aires Hotel very much . Both our checkin and check out were quick and seamless . The room was spacious and clean with plenty of storage , safe and mini bar . The bathroom was also a good size with a large shower . Both the wifi and air conditioning worked fine and we very pleased with how quiet the hotel is despite being on a busy street . The elevators are small and a bit slow at times but not a deal breaker . The buffet breakfast was good with a variety of hot and cold items . I found the hot items to be warm at best and was not a fan of the scrambled eggs . It is centrally located with easy access to many of the Buenos Aires attractions . We were able to walk almost everywhere and when not the taxis are very affordable . The hotel is one block away from the major pedestrian shopping street "Florida". They do not have a gym but will give you a pass to the YMCA one block away or there is also another gym a short walk down San Martin . The location is almost perfect with banks, restaurants , bars , shopping and laundry all within easy access . Not to be missed is the San Telmo street market on Sundays . All of the staff we encountered were great with a special thanks to Leonardo(Leo) and all of the front desk staff who were so great with all their assistance . I have fallen in love with Buenos Aires and its people and can't wait to return…
