Redeeming feature was the location - the city is quite walkable anyway but the location helped this. I found the staff quite unhelpful, with one lady smoking behind the desk and acting very disinterested in the customers. The breakfast was okay but fairly basic. The rooms were small and the bathroom rundown and seemingly unclean. I guess if a hotel...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The front desk staff was not unfriendly but also not super welcoming. The elevator is so small you can only fit 2 people and if you have bags forget about it. The rooms are small and the beds are even smaller. The shower was good- good water pressure and hot water. Our room...

Towels soap clean beds and clean floors. Much nicer than many basic hotels I've stayed in on my gap year so far. Trouble with wifi but other than that I've enjoyed the stay. The location is nice for shopping you are only a couple of blocks from shops.. For nightlife it is a little further but many places are busy...

Hotel uncomfortably hot, aircon did not work well, room dark and miserable. Lounge area/ gathering area very small and uninviting. Was a place to sleep, spend the rest of the time out of the hotel. Breakfast was average. Wouldn't go back to this hotel again. Close to Florida street and city centre, this is its main plus.

Great location, clean room, light but good breakfast. The crew is Very friendly. You can asked them all the questions you have, and how to go in the city. It was our second time in this hotel. The price is very good for what you get.

Stayed due to a friend staying with a group. Arrived in the room to find the master key bunch in the back of my door, so I could have accessed all rooms on my floor! Woke up at 4am to find a cockroach near the bedside table and then found them everywhere. Picture attached This is on the 5th floor!!!...

Location is ok; hotel is well located in downtown BA. There is also bus, metro and taxi station near hotel. Supermarket (0-24) is 20m from hotel. Staff is not polite an helpful at all. They seemed bothrered every time I asked about something. Room is basic but clean and comfortable. Bathroom is great; shower with plenty of hot wather and...

As already mentioned in previous comments, this hotel is well located in downtown Buenos Aires, near main arteries, metro stations and buses, and restaurants of all kind. Greeting at reception was OK, depending of the receptionist. The room was quiet, comfortable and very well heated (in winter), the private bathroom was clean, the shower hot with good pressure. Breakfast was...

Good parts first: The beds are ok and the shower has plenty of hot water and good pressure. If that's all you need, it's fine. Location is ok. Breakfast is terrible. The receptionists seemed bothrered every time i asked about something and I never got a proper answer. Wifi hardly ever worked and since I couldn't figure out the neighborhood...

Staying in Montserrat

Neighbourhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighbourhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
