The Haig is the best run, best managed option for extended stays in Buenos Aires. The team takes the complication and stress out of staying in the city, and the community of people is amazing. The apartments are beautifully and tastefully equipped, the pool is incredible, and the little extras like where to go and what to do are unbeatable!

I have just returned from an amazing trip in BA, made even more special by staying at The Haig. The whole process from enquiring over availability to arranging New Year's Eve dinner was looked after and done so smoothly. The apartments themselves were perfect, great detail and everything you need for a great and comfortable stay. The pool and lounge...

So I stayed at The Haig again this year, about 14 months after my first visit, and must say it's only gotten better! The pool area (which was perfect for a late November visit) was beautiful, the greenery had really blossomed and the bar/lounge area is a perfect hangout space for some light entertaining. And now they have a terrace...

I want to start off by saying that this was by best one of the best living-abroad experiences I have had by far. I am originally from Germany but am studying in Boston and was moving to Buenos Aires in August to live here for 5 months and am very lucky to have found the Haig! From the beginning Nick,...

I lived in Buenos Aires for a little over a year, and I stayed at places ranging from luxury and mid-range hotels to Airbnb. I've also lived and worked remotely in ~5 other countries, including parts of Europe and Asia. Not only is The Haig the best place I've lived in BA, but it's also the best living arrangement I've...

After much research we elected to stay at The Haig and were not disappointed. Nick and Natalia were most welcoming, while everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. We spoke very little Spanish but this was not a problem as English speaking staff were always available. Our room was modern and clean and as an apartment it had everything we needed...

The Haig was recommended to me a friend who is also from the UK. Great location and close to subway to access other areas. Staff are wonderful and on hand to help with all problems/questions. Other guests that I have met are lovely. The apartments are very comfortable with great attention to detail - from black out blinds to umbrellas...

The Haig itself is amazing – staff are welcoming, friendly, and full of helpful information, and the suites are spacious with good amenities. The location as well can't be beat. You're in the heart of Palermo Hollywood with countless great restaurants so you can walk to see the sights during the day and return to your neighborhood at night for...

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
