I don't even know where to begin with this review. I think this has to be the best hotel i have ever stayed in.EVERYTHING about it was just perfect.

I was there with work, overseeing a group of nearly 100 guests and everything from the welcome, the staff and the location was fantastic.

The hotel is set in a natural forest where mother nature literally comes to your window. My room had a balcony which i could touch the trees from. The setting is perfect for a relaxing break away.

You enter the rooming blocks by a wooden bridge which offers fastic views of the grounds and pool area. The hotel offers 2 dining areas along with the option for room service.

The rooms are simply beautiful, with very large bed, seating area, climate control, mini bar, safe, and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathrooms are large with separate toilet and shower all this comes with a deep and large bath, a selection of relaxing lighting.

I have never experienced a hotel like this, and i am hoping i get the chance to in the future.

One thing to point out, for those who are city dwellers like myself, the fact nature is so close does have you on tender hooks whilst walking out and about the grounds. In my 3 days there i came acroos Tucans, tree frogs, grass hoppers and a terantula (all outside of the room)

If you are staying in the local area for the falls, please make this hotel your first choice.

You WILL NOT be dissapointed.

We spent four nights here and we wanted to stay longer. After a morning or day out hiking, coming back to this place was a real treat. Staff are friendly and helpful, the food was faultless and the facilities are just fantastic. We even got to see toucans on two occasions one of them being on our balcony! The swimming pools are amazing and well appreciated. We had massages which were fantastic.

A couple of little pointers for the manager/owner....

The drinks seemed to take forever. One occasion 25mins. Most occasions our food would turn up before the drinks. There only seems to be one barman that makes cocktails?

The second point would be to not let other guests bring there speakers to the pool area. Whilst relaxing at 10am a couple was playing there music. The same another evening. For me I find this disrespectful especially at a place where people pay a lot of money to be there. The pool staff need to politely ask the guests to use head phones. Imagine if we all decide to bring our speakers down!

Overall I was happy here and I would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

Thank you for a wonderful stay

Spent 3 nights at Loi Suites whilst visiting Iguazu falls. It’s about 20minutes from the entrance to the national park.
It’s located right in the middle of the rainforest and is totally peaceful apart from the sound of the jungle. We had a gorgeous pair of toucans on the tree outside our room. The buildings are connected by rope bridges and all the public areas are beautifully appointed.
The pool area is gorgeous and there are 3 connected pools. Food in both the restaurant and pool cafe is good with a wide choice. If you want to eat out of the hotel you need to get a taxi but they are inexpensive. The staff are very nice but found service particularly in the pool bar area extremely slow. It wasn’t a problem as we were not rushing off anywhere in the evenings.
There are many hotels a lot closer to the entrance to the national park but if you like to be in the jungle I would highly recommend this hotel.

On one hand, Loi Suites Iguazu has the jungle location, eco inspired accommodations making for a unique lush experience. Loved walking across the floating pathways and the marked trails on the property. Our suite was just about as pictured. Large and spacious, wooden floors, private balcony with Jacuzzi tub, white robes and slippers. The tub was rather cruddy in some areas and once in the tub there were some unattractive areas of the patio privacy walls that could use some dusting and cleaning. But we appreciated the service where they come and fill the tub at the time of your request. We took advantage of this well thought out arrangement after a long tour day at the Falls.

Unfortunately, here’s where the hotel tears itself down.

The pool area, pool restaurant.

The hospitality amongst the staff is cold. A warm politeness is missing from the majority of the staff.
Each day that we entered the pool restaurant area we were entering chaos. We had to work to get a table. Then work to get a server to greet our table. Eventually place an order. But hope you do not need a condiment or napkin because you were going to have to work to hunt that down too. Many staff members standing around yet no one offering customer service. This service neglect went on for several days. What should be a reasonably relaxing meal and a drink after a day at the falls or a simple lunch at the hotel while swimming was dreadful.
Maybe there is disorganization amongst the staff themselves as to who plays what role?
Or perhaps the language barrier makes some staff members uncomfortable with approaching the guest? Either way -THE GUEST SUFFERED. After all, everyone knows a simple greeting and a smile right?

The pool lounges and chairs were an extension to the lower restaurant. Therefore, MORE confusion.
Used pool towels stayed on the ground, on the chairs, making it impossible to know what chairs are available and what chairs in use. No regulations in place. Except the pool attendant who whistles at the occasional kid for a climbing over a pool wall.
The exception to the poor service is Fadua. The one waitress who greeted everyone with a smile. She Earnestly fought through the occasional language struggle and followed through on her guest service until the end.
The problem is she deservedly took off work for a few days which left us high and dry with unhappy staff.
No establishment should operate on the shoulders of one member. I’ve concluded that this hotel takes on more guest than it can properly service bringing it’s value down to just a pretty place.

Beautiful resort property, but rooms need attention. We also loved the hospitality of the staff and the common areas of the property. Rooms need a makeover (and mildew/mold smell removal) and for the price we paid (roughly $1000 for two nights) we expect better.

My husband and I stayed at the Loi Suites hotel for three nights while visiting the Falls.
The hotel grounds are beautiful, breakfast is great and the restaurant food is good too. Staff at reception is nice.
The rooms are bright and spacious and the decks facing the forest are fabulous.

That said, the hotel is wildly overpriced for a 5 stars hotel as it doesn’t offer a 5 star experience at all.

Echoing another review I just read: good luck getting a waiter’s attention; taking matters into my own hands I took to ordering at the bar (where 3-4 waiters stand chatting while customers wait) and THEN finding a table, in order to speed things up. Also a waiter would come to the table I sat at, and just put new placemats on the filthy table: it was me who had to ask him to clean the table first (!).

The design of the rooms is not very UX based: tiny sinks in which you can barely brush your teeth without hitting the mirror; and barely any hangers or hooks to hang damp towels.

The pool: Full. Of. Screaming. Kids.
I understand it’s holiday season.
But a 5 star hotel should have separated pools - one for kids, one for adults only, and they should be sufficiently separated one from the other so that the childrens’ (and their parents’) screaming and splashing doesn’t bother a guest looking to read a book and relax. Or the hotel should not allow screaming.
Either way, it seems the hotel is not designed for quiet and relaxation, so just keep that in mind when booking.

So all in all I would not go back and would not recommend it to couples. I guess it’s a good option for a family looking for an upscale hotel.

My travel agent selected this place for me, so i went in without any research. A pleasant surprise to find it surrounded by forrest and the Iguazu River. The rooms are scattered around the property in "modules", connected by suspension bridges. Liked very much the low-key, unobtrusive architecture. Main building contains the pools and restaurant/spa, which provides excellent breakfast on weekends (slightly smaller selection on week days). My unit is the only type without a balcony but still with floor to ceiling window facing the woods I can't complain. It's quiet, can't hear anything from next door even though I know it is occupied. AC works well, and not too loud. The facility does start to show age but nothing impedes my relaxation at the property. One evening I went in town for dinner. It is about 10 min drive via taxi, not walking distance. Getting taxi back to hotel is easy, either via restaurant or hotel it can easily be done without knowing much Spanish.

Wow, can you believe they built this place smack in the middle of a jungle near the Brazil border? Incredible. I found out that this was opened in only 2010, making it only 10 years old at the time of this review.

I thought that it would be ridden with bugs, mosquitos, all sorts of creepy crawly things and hot and humid and miserable. Well I was wrong.

We were there over XMAS break Dec 2019. This is the heart of summer season in Iguazu, but the creepy crawly things were just about non existent, the humidity and heat were not nearly bad at all, and the rooms were really MODERN, new and very SPACIOUS.

Ate dinner one night in the restaurant and had, what else? Steak. Was great. We had breakfast included also in the mornings and we were not disappointed at all, very nice.

Special shout out to Mr. Nahuel Cortesi who was especially kind to me and my family when we had a special request, which he happily accommodated. Nicely done and thank you very much!

Highly recommended.

This hotel is far from a 5 star hotel.

The service is absolutely diabolical. From the Tiki bar, trying to get someone to come to you to take a drink order takes about a half an hour, then once you order, another 20 minutes to get your drink.

After sitting in our seat for half an hour with the staff ignoring us, my wife went to the bar, and then the woman at the bar looked beyond my wife to ask the man behind her what he wanted ???!!!

I visited the restaurant. I ordered a steak jugoso (rare) an hour later , after every table that came in after us getting their food, I asked where my food was “it’s coming “

Then it came, it was medium to well cooked. But off the grill as it stated.

I sent it back and got another steak. I got the fattiest fried lump of beef back , cooked wrong again, so I sent it back.

I refused another steak as I do not like wasting good beef on an incompetent chef, insulting the farmers, meat processors, butchers and suppliers.

A 5 star hotel? Give me a break!!!

I’ve stayed in better 3 stars.

I was really surprised to see how tired the rooms looked here after the reviews we read. We were first put into an upgraded corner room, #3101. It was below grade, dark and dingy. Just depressing to be in, plus people on the walkways were looking down into the room. We got moved to a non-upgraded room on the 3rd floor, without a difference refund. The unit was much nicer with a view and had a jacuzzi tub on the balcony. I rinsed the tube out before using it, and it didn't drain. After 15 minutes to get 1 gallon of water out, I filled the tub, and turned on the jets. The stale water in the jets smelled like sewer water, so I just pulled the plug and let it try and drain, of course without using the tub. When I first got into the room, the A/C didn't work. I called down to the desk, and they did send someone immediately. He looked at the thermostat (which by the way is for a split system, not the system in the room), and said it's fine, just give it time. I told him I had already given it an hour and a half, and he just shrugged his shoulders. Overnight, the room did cool down, so we left the a/c on and ventured to the falls. It was 96°F and 90% humidity that day so we were drenched when we finally go back to the room at 19:00. Only to find out that the maid had turned the a/c up to 24°C and the fan to low. So it was over 26° in the room, and the a/c didn't do anything when we turned it down. Add to it the blow drier kept cutting out on my wife, and we had a perfectly crappy room. The service in the restaurants was slow, but not unusual for Argentina.

Dear Dave L, thank you for choosing to Loi Suites Iguazu Hotel and for writing your comments. First of all our apologies that we did not reach your expectations about our room and service but there is a misunderstanding about your stay that I would like to clarify. The first room assigned ( 3101) was from our 3rd category of rooms, a superior room and the one that we changed you is a Suite, our 4th category, so you did receive an upgrade without any extra charge. In order to avoid any inconvenience, regarding the use of the jacuzzi, is that we ask our guest to order to the front desk to send someone to prepare the jacuzzi. Regarding the rest of your observations about our service, we appreciate the information provided, that way we know where to focus our effort and improve our service. We hope you could give us a second chance in the future to show you how nice can be the time with us. Best regards, Natalia Aiello Guest service
