A phenomenal environmentally friendly lodge. Gourmet food too! Excellent guides, unique trails and an opportunity to be present in the rainforest. Bring bug spray, wear long pants and long sleeves. Be prepared to be dazzled!!

I was not sure initially what my visit to Yacutinga Lodge would be like! I was pleasantly surprised. The eco lodge and its forest environment was fantastic and unique, with walks, kayaking and other activities which brought you close up with he local habitat and people. The most memorable activiites was planting an Orchard and visit to the local Indian...

Yacutinga Lodge is a small example of paradise in the jungle. The lodge itself is based on a number of small cottages set in the jungle with a central complex with dining room, lounge and bar &c. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. Some may say that it is somewhat idiosyncratic but that simply adds to its charm....

Dear Guest, First of all Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We are very glad to know that you value the effort we make daily to preserve and conserve one of the last relicts of Atlantic Rainforest. We, the five of us, were the only visitors back in April which made us feel we really were away from the rest of the world. We were warmly welcomed not only by the knowlegeable, engaging staff but by monkeys leaping in the thick tree cover.

I was here for only 2 days and nights, but this place was amazing. The Lodge is an ecological masterpiece, peacefully nestled within the rain forest. The staff was by far, the most friendly we met during our 28-day tour of South America. Wonderful people. Nestor, the Lodge's guide, is very intelligent, loves his job (and it shows!), highly knowledgeable...

A good trip. Staff are knowledgable and teach you a lot about the jungle habitat and animals. The canoe trip is a definite highlight. The food was ok. The pool area is also needed after a steamy day in the jungle. The rooms are quite rustic and it's definitely not a luxury lodge but certainly lives up to its green...

We stayed for 2 nights. It was a great experience. The rooms are comfortable with good mosquito proofing ( very necessary) and very private so you really feel you have your 'own' bit of jungle. The main building is stunning, with some lovely decorative touches made from local wood, vines and other produce. The food was delicious, again much from...

The Yacutinga Lodge sets the tone with the check-in area and lobby with natural wood chairs, desk, stairs and more. Steps away are the well-maintained pool and beautiful party / bar / outdoor kitchen areas. The individual lodges are clean and well protected from marauding mosquitoes. The bath / shower area in my lodge looked like a Gaudy design, with...

Staff and guide were great. Accommodations we're surprisingly good in an out of the way place. Loved the food and the fact that the place was built out of natural products. I was part of a tour heading to Iguazu Falls.

This lodge has the most friendly and helpful guides and staff to make your learning experience in the jungle of Argentina a great experience. Hot and humid weather was compensated for by a dip in the pool amid numerous butterflies.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nested in the Interior Atlantic Rainforest this is the first and unique jungle lodge of Argentina. Sustainable tourism. Eco oriented tours within the exclusive Yacutinga's Private Nature Reserve. 80 kilometres away from the fantastic Iguazu Falls and its massive tourism. This Lodge has been built JUST FOR NATURE LOVERS. Native meals, ecotours conducted by ecologist & biologist, 20 rooms and 1 suite with a very intense contact with the Jungle atmosphere. A list of over 570 species of diurnal butterflies, more than 320 species of bird listed. Do not expect to observe plenty of mammals, our ecosystem doesn't allow this kind of gift. Expect for capuchin monkeys, coaties, hundred of butterflies , over 40 to 60 bird species in two days of ecoactivities. There other mammals that sometimes show up. Remember this is not a Zoo, everybody is free here... Including us. We do not offer a luxury accommodation. We offer equilibrium. Thank you for your attention. “I don't know what "room tip" means other than the monetary tip that I always leave for the staff. I don't think that's what's meant here. I can only say that the rooms were not only comfortable and totally acceptable, but they allow luxury accessibility to view, listen to and experience the rain forested jungle outside. Loved them!”
