Like most people we stayed for 2 nights, and had a lovely spacious room overlooking the pool. We had dinner here on both nights, and the food and wine were excellent, and great value too. We also had a few cocktails from the bar, and whilst the service was a little slow, the

This hotel has a series of walkways and, if you are a birdwatcher, you don’t need to leave the hotel to see loads of great birds. I saw three types of toucan, a blond-crested woodpecker and a plush-crested jay, all from the walkways, as well as a large morpho butterfly. There

We loved this hotel. The location, scenery, and the rooms were excellent. Breakfast was OK, not enough selections, however the restaurant was very good. There were plenty of food and wine selections and the prices were reasonable. The only issue we had was with front desk at

We spent three nights at this lovely modern rustic hotel in the heart of the Iryapu jungle. Quite a central location and taxis are cheap. These can be organised through the hotel and charged to your room account. The hotel is about a 20 minute drive from the International

This is a pretty nice hotel. Restaurant staff are very good & responsive. However the front desk staff, with the exception of some the younger staff, are slacked as anything. Not enough chairs around the pool.

Dear Guest, We have a taxi office inside the hotel and they can provide any kind of transportation you need. It is not necessary to reserve the transfer out to the Brazilian airport in advance. We can help you arranging the taxi once you are here. Best Regards, Jorge

Hi, The Mercure is a bit out of the centre of city and there is no taxi rank. I am sure the hotel could arrange one but then you need to be able to grab one at the falls entrance. A number of tour companies do hotel pickups. We took a car from the airport and arranged with the driver to take us to the falls and back the next day which worked great. A tip is to get to the falls at 8:00am ready for the first train at 8:30. Being first in there is a lot less people initially. A minimum of 5 hrs at the falls gives plenty of time for a boat ride. Enjoy

"Only two floors - first floor is Ground. View over the pool obscured by vegetation in some rooms."
"avoid room 129"
"Check the view (it could be jungle, swimming pool etc). First floor might be better."
"Choose and even numbered room - they are closer to the pool. Ask for a room close to the pool - it is hot so you would want to swim."
"All rooms are good for their picture windows and the illusion of being in the rain forest from the balconies."
