We had booked a place which was awful... then people we met recommended this place : Cabañas de Agucanto This place is wonderful and recommended to all. It's clean, the breakfast is nice and Emilio is very very helpful. We love this place and we're leaving with regret.❤️️❤️️❤️️

These apartments are nice, cozy and clean. Very practical location to visit the sights and the surroundings. You even have a nice mountain view from your window or you can enjoy the deck chairs or hammocks outside. The service is warm and friendly. Includes wi-fi. They don't take credit cards nor have safety box, but this is fairly commonplace in... More

Found this place by chance when I went to check out the llama farm - the hotel is right across the road from it. Both Santiago and Augusto were warm, welcoming, helpful. (Augusto in particular speaks excellent English and helped me gain some insight about the local culture.) Even the nearby roosters obliged by not crowing before 6 am. I... More

Due to availability we got an upgrade to Cabana number 1. Small living room, kitchen and big double bed. Nice bathroom. Enough space for the suit cases. Friendly and helpful personnel. In the morning when you open the shades of the front window, breakfast is brought to the cabana. But the breakfast is small and the rolls are somewhat hard... More

It's a nice little hotel with a new and modern design. The rooms are very cozy and clean. We got a warm welcome from the manager who was always available for us and provided helpful information for going out. The breakfast was very delicious with fresh bread and regional marmalade. It's a great place for tours in the area and... More

We stayed 2 nights @ Aguacanto, the rooms were very nice and the breakfast was good and simple as well ( Coffee and bread ). The owners were very nice and helpful ( They even brought us next door to take pictures with the llamas ). The hotel is about 3 minutes walking distance from the main plaza.

We were in Tilcra for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay at Agaucanto. Javier was most helpful and even went out to buy a plug for thr sink when we requested one.

We stayed for four nights in one of the "cabanas," which is not a stand-alone cabin, but a very nice large place, with separate living room/kitchen and bedroom. It was cold while we were there, so it was nice having the fireplace, although it was like pulling teeth to get firewood each day. Trash was not removed from the room... More

I visited the “Quebrada de Humahuaca” (wich I recommend it warmly). I choose Tilcara to spend all the time and, from that lovely town I came and went making several day trips (as Huacalera, Purmamarca, Salinas Grandes, Iruya, etc. –even Tilcara itself had a lot of places to visit-). So, in Tilcara I stayed in “Aguacanto” a beatiful lodge (large... More
