The location is great. Right off the main square. Be prepared for a lot of noise if facing street side. Others seem to describe this place as olde world charm from the 40's but I think it is verging on a little run down and in need of a bit of a facelift. The only thing I found charming were...

The location of this hotel is great. It's in the main square of the city, waking distance to almost all important places . There are many good restaurants around. It's very clean and comfortable. Breakfast were very simple not to much choices but the ones you had were good.

Not all rooms are the same...we stayed at this hotel different times and changed the assigned room. Some are a bit narrow while others are really spacious and well placed, also in terms of overlooking part of the city (view, noises...). The rooms tend to be a bit too hot at night. For the rest, the hotel has a magnificent...

Hotel Salta is well located if you want to get to the touristy area in Salta, yet because of it's location, it's incredibly noisy and you hear cars honking their horns at full blast from 6 am on. Rooms are ok as is the shower, but in general I wouldn't recommend it. Not a lot for breakfast and the quality...

We stayed two non consecutive nights. Both rooms has good views, we had no noise issues, a little dated but clean. On our second night we were upgraded to a suite with a view to the Church and it was much better than the first smaller room. Breakfast was average, a buffet of many different types of bread, one bowl...

One of the nicest hotels we stayed in during our trip through Argentina. The staff is really friendly and the rooms are good. In he hotel there is a car rental which we used to get a car to drive around the salta area. The location of this hotel is perfect on the corner of plaza de Julio. From here...

With such a location - right at the center of Salta with main attractions in walking distance, where you can enjoy the evening buzz without requiring transportation to return - it is hard to go wrong. Yes, there is some noise from the street. But this is the price for being in the city center. The rooms are clean, wifi...

We were here in November and twice ate at the restaurant. Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and a fantastic location on the main square. We also hired a room for a day so we could use the pool before flying out of Salta. The pool area was really nice, and very quiet given it is right in the middle...

Stayed here on three non-consecutive nights and was upgraded on the latter two nights. Friendly staff, rooms were clean and a good size. Breakfast was standard, nothing special. Excellent location, right on the corner of the square.
