Our host, Eugenia, was very friendly and very helpful. She could not have been nicer. The location is a short walk from downtown, and the tour companies were all able to pick us up and drop us back off there. The room was very cozy, nice heated floors! The room was immaculate. The bed was the most comfortable of our... More

Casa Patagonica is a "bed and breakfast", hostel-like place. You get a room with private restroom, breakfast is also included. Owners live in the house. You meet them daily and their family. They are very friendly. Even staff may be there with there children, which gives place to meet and enjoy a chat. This is an absolutely friendly place for... More

The place has a really warm touch, clean rooms, nice breakfast and the owner is very nice & helpful. She gave us all the info we needed about the town an also booked tours for us [Punta Tombo(pinguin colony) and Peninsula Valdez] no extra charge. Breakfast is basic but good, the owner bakes really delicious cakes:). You can use the... More

I recently went down to visit Peninsula Valdez and Punta Tomba, and stayed at the Casa Patagonica for a couple of nights. Great value, and an easy 15 - 20 minute walk into the center of town on a well lite sidewalk. Hosts / owners were great, and they help with all your tour arrangements. I stayed (single traveler) using... More

We stayed in Casa Patagonica as part of our Honeymoon. We stayed at the room with ensuite but we had the chance to see the other rooms and shared bathroom and they looked great. The area has a communal livingroom, kitchen & access to PC. You can use the fridge and kitchenware but you are not supposed to cook though,... More

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. From the friendly reception we received when we arrived and help with everything was awesome. The place is huge and feels like a home away from home. Deliciously coffee, comfy bed, hot shower, kitchen ... Anyway simply good!

This is a small family owned & run B & B which has 4 rooms. We were glad we took the only room with the private ensuite - all those people sharing the only other bathroom looked a bit challenging. Our room was at the front so there was some noise from the passing traffic but not too intrusive. The... More

Our stay here was made very comfortable by the freindly helpful staff. The restaurant and tour recommendations were very good. The location near the beach and short walk to town were desirable. We had the only room with attached bath, so this should be noted if this is your preference. The breakfast while freindly was minimal. We had a pleasant... More

We stayed for just one night as we were travelling through and just wanted to see a football match (which got postponed sadly). The owners are very very friendly and helpful. A ten minute walk out of town, Casa Patagonica is a quiet restful well-maintained B&B. The bathrooms are shared and can be a little tight. There is a nice common area with a computer. The wifi is good and works in the rooms.

“If you want to maximize you're time in this area, tours leave around 7:30 to 8 AM. I took the overnight bus down from BA and arrived just before 7 AM, and managed to book a tour that very morning from the Casa Patagonica.”
