We stayed here for one night after doing the Cruce Andino from Puerro Varas. Staff were very friendly and helpful with taxis and luggage etc. Breakfast was OK. The room was fine. The hotel felt a little run down but we liked the location and we had a good nights sleep.

Horrible service… don’t stay here. The person who checks you is lazy as hell.. they don’t give a friendly presence. The hotel is old and does not fit the beauty of this city and there are several better hotels at this price. The view sucks from the luxury suite we rented and I had rented a car and the parking is supposedly free. However is the all spots are occupied in the parking lot they send you to another several blocks away and you have to pay… this place is stupid so I strongly recommend not spending a cent in this hotel. I check out in 2 days but the check in and start of my stay is horrible.. there are at least 4 other parties waiting in the lobby because their were issues with the rooms apparently..

This European style hotel is located on a main thoroughfare. So if you want a room with a view of the lake..it will be noisy..if you sleep with the windows open..which you need to do in summer. There is no aircon. To avoid this and sacrifice a large bed to a double..get a room with a view of their garden. Much quieter. The rooms are adequate with the bathroom having the dumb bath/shower combo. The ground floor had a vast area for lounging and a vast breakfast room. Breakfast is fine with adequate selection. Front desk staff are excellent. Bag storage is poor. No specific room and no tagging.Postion is excellent..one 2 hundred metres from the central mall. Wifi is ok.

Hotel Tres Reyes is centrally and conveniently located in San Carlos de Bariloche. The price is very affordable, the cleanliness is perfect, the rooms have beautiful views of the lake and mountains, the breakfast is very good (especially great variety of tasty pastries), the service is very good, if you are taking any of the excursions, this hotel is one of the pick up locations (very easy and convenient). I highly recommend for anyone traveling to Bariloche to stay here!

This is a terrible hotel. We stayed there was 3 days and while they made up the room they were too cheap to replace the glasses! We had to wash our glasses ourselves and reuse them. This was not even the only problem! The room was pretty dreary looking. While they advertise "lake views" it is actually a pretty ugly part of the lake. Breakfast was awful. We had travelled in Argentina for a week before staying at Tres Reyes, and had loved the coffee everywhere. Even the coffee was pretty disgusting. They were too cheap to put in much coffee in the coffee maker, I guess. The result was a disgusting, unpalatable brew. The staff in the breakfast room, however, were nice. That was definitely not the case with the staff at the front desk. They were rude even when we checked in. Bariloche was lovely, and made up for the awful experience at Tres Reyes. I would definitely go back to Bariloche, but will avoid Tres Reyes like the plague.

We were here for 3 nights at the tail end of a very enjoyable visit to the Patagonia region. There may be other nicer and more exciting places around but Tres Reyes met our expectations - we simply wanted a decent hotel which was convenient in terms of getting around and nothing more. Close to the central square and the icecream and chocolate shops, good staff at the reception - it has some real nice artifacts /old chairs. The bar was a bit empty ...definitely not lively. Rooms comfortable. The breakfast was good with Black forest cake. Tour buses and vans stop by to pick up passengers Not far from Bus 20 which goes around town..

We'd already spent a few nights in Bariloche in an AirBnB, and were only staying at Hotel Trey Reyes for 1 night following a late return from the Cruce Andino. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, even allowing us to store our luggage with them for 3 days whilst we did the Cruce Andino trip. Check in was speedy. That's as good as it gets really though. It's a tired and dated hotel, with dingy interiors. The room was fine, comfortable enough and quiet, but we couldn't get the temperature down low enough. On check in we were given a free drink voucher each, so we visited the hotel bar. This was an odd place, it felt like an afterthought bolted on and more like a school club area than a bar! It was empty and had no atmosphere, but we took advantage of our free drinks which were actually delicious. We'd have stayed for more drinks but it was so lacking in atmosphere that we left. Breakfast was very depressing, we were very glad we only had the 1 night here. Ultimately we chose this hotel as it was one of the drop off locations for the Cruce Andino which meant it was convenient, so it did its job. It's also well located, on the sea front and right in the heart of the town. But I struggle to think of any other good points!

Yes the hotel has a good view of the lake. Yes it’s inexpensive. But in this case you truly what pay for. Worst place we stayed in our 3 week trip to Argentina and Uruguay and we stayed in lovely places costing less. No internet. The staff are rude and penny pinching. “No permiso” was a common refrain. Free cocktail on check in? Limited to a glass of wine. Breakfast buffet? Me disculpe the eggs are gone for the day (1 hour before breakfast closes). Dirty carpets and furniture. Take a cup of coffee to the lounge to enjoy the lake view? No permiso!! While chasing my husband down the hall. Do yourself a favor and pay $5 more to stay in many of the other choices in San Carlos de Bariloche.

One of the worst places we stayed in Argentina, which is a pity as Bariloche is a heaven. The hotel is neglected and old. I reserved a standard double room, which obviously has no view (my fault), the problem is that there is no air-condition or ventilation whatsoever, we had difficulty to sleep. Wifi in the room is very bad. Would never go back. The breakfast was variable, the coffee was ok.

Pro: Rooms [with great view of lake] was relatively quiet in spite of being on a busy street. Bed was comfortable. Free parking on a first come, first serve basis. Bathroom water pressure and hot water were good. Common areas are comfy for hanging out if there is bad weather. Very close to restaurants and shops. Cons: Wi-Fi is painfully slow. It is slow in most of Bariloche [just be forewarned]. Room was a bit dated. Could use more electrical outlets, especially near the bed. Breakfast was not great. They have an absurd key policy – only one per room even if two people are staying there. Very inconvenient if people have different plans.
