Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is far from a 4-star one … it has very good things, but there are important issues better to forget: The bad things: - Water pressure is almost non-existent, which makes very difficult to shower in the morning … this needs urgent reparation, it's almost unbelievable. - Noise from a neighbour pub … live music (specially on weekends) which you cannot avoid … because the windows are not the better ones that isolates noise … they need to change them. - No air conditioning in the hot summer is something that makes for a very bad night sleep … the ventilator is just a joke because it's very hot in the summer. - The pool has very few resting chairs, and I wonder why the terrace cannot be used in a more interesting way to have better views to the lake or something …. Good things: - Staff is mostly quite helpful and friendly. - Location is quite convenient. Overall, I will definitely return to the city (I've been here several times in the past) but I won't be returning to this hotel.

The rooms are large. I had 2 double beds in mine. There is underfloor heating which keeps the room lovely and warm, but not too warm for sleeping. The bathroom is fine and lovely fluffy towels. Breakfast is good but no eggs to order. Coffee again excellent. We had dinner at the hotel on the first night which was lovely

Fine for a one-night stay. We were on our way to Chile via the lakes between the two countries. The breakfast buffet was good and they had caffein-free powdered coffee. Good scrambled eggs. We had fish the night below. It tasted ok but was a bit over-cooked. Not easy to fix fish for larger groups. I suggest offering other dishes to serve to groups. Be aware there is no salt and pepper on the tables, as is common in Argentina - you can ask for it though. The bed was comfortable. There are no USB ports in the rooms. This is an older hotel. The staff were professional and efficient. Be aware that Argentinan cities can change a tourist tax - Bariloche is one of those cities. There are not many hotels in this area.

Nice hotel in Bariloche, well run, clean, very friendly and helpful staff. No air conditioning but the weather was not hot when I visited. The onsite garage was small for US standards but still convenient.

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel Yes, the location is good, but so many other things were tired and hopelessly dated. I can’t remember when I have ever stayed in a hotel anywhere that did not have individual temperature controls in the room. The shower was very slippery and the water temperature was uneven. The bathroom amenities were minimal, given the price for the rooms. And instant coffee in the room?? Every other hotel we stayed at in Argentina had a Keurig or Nespreso machine. Finally, we are becoming accustomed to finding USB ports in hotel rooms for our devices and there were none. Fortunately I had my own adapters, because the hotel had run out of them. I believe this hotel has a 4-star rating, but this was no 4-star experience. Also I reached out to this hotel several times via email and had no reply. There was no manager available during our stay.

If this were a three-star, moderately-priced hotel run by mom and pop, I’d keep my mouth shut. But it is a four-star, very expensive hotel part of the NH chain. As such, its standards should be much, much higher. As it stands, the hotel it tired and warned out, a triumph of brown carpets and peeling wallpaper. There are only two rooms with AC; for an extra fee, we upgraded to one. In it, there are two splits—one of which never worked despite the efforts of rather somnolent technicians. To boot, the hotel is very ugly, both from the outside and the inside. Do yourselves a big favor—avoid it.

Bariloche is in a beautiful area of Argentina. This hotel is very well placed for looking around the town and some of the rooms have lovely views overlooking Lake Nahuel Huapi. Our room was extremely comfortable and always very clean and tidy. The staff working at the Reception desk were friendly and helpful. The staff working in the Dining Room and Bar were neither friendly, cheerful or helpful. The choice on offer at breakfast was really excellent. We ate one dinner in the Restaurant which was fine. We ate one lunch in the Bar which was extremely disappointing. We waited ages for two chicken salads which were dry, unappetising and consisted of two pieces of chicken approximately 4 cms x 4 cms per person and a few salad leaves. The barman seemed far more interested in watching the television than attending to all his customers. When we received our bill we found we had been undercharged and pointed this out so that the bill could be changed. When we finally settled the bill for the correct amount the barman did not seem particularly grateful.

Great place to stay in while in Bariloche. We spent 6 nights there, the rooms are pretty big and very clean, the breakfast is also really good. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Ivana. Would definitely stay here again.

We came here for a week for a conference and sightseeing. Good hotel with a large two room family room. Only one of the rooms had a fan which made the second bedroom very hot. Doors did not protect from noise. Beds very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and the location was excellent. Breakfast was adequate, but not as good as others in Argentina. Would ask for a better view if available.

I actually felt comfortable here, but strictly speaking my room had seen better days, the furnishings were very old, no air conditioning. But the staff was nice, it was clean, fairly central in Bariloche, breakfast was relatively extensive, dinner in the restaurant was also good. The gym was really old and not in good shape. Would probably look for a slightly more modern place to stay next time though.
