Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here overnight because we had an early flight to catch from Bariloche to Iguassu and thought it would provide a good base. The hotel has direct views of Lago Nahuel Huapi and beach access. It is set slightly away from the centre of the town, but there are plenty of restaurant and cafe choices nearby. We decided, however, to eat at the hotel restaurant, in order to have an early night, and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Staff were friendly, efficient and eager to assist. The only downside was lack of airconditioning in our room, but of course it's rarely required in Lake District except on unusually hot days.

The room was clean and well laid out. The lake outside is a great plus. The staff were friendly and helpful, although advice on local activities was hard to get. Pool temperature felt very comfortable. You are close to the main town, so walking distance. You need to think about going anywhere to walk or hike more or less by taxi or Uber, which both work fine. Best aspect was the restaurant, which was distinguished and the pianist playing below over dinner was a nice touch.

Lovely hotel with great views over the lake. The pool is warm and again overlooks the lake. Breakfast was good ( no egg station) but everything else was there. There is a table tennis and pool table. Staff were very helpful. It is quite away out of town but walkable in about 15 mins. But very near the chocolate factory!

This is a unique property and is modern and rustic at the same time. It is in a quiet location on the edge of town but town is still very walkable. There is a very large indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The view rooms are very special. We really liked this property.

Beautiful hotel located in front of the lake and 5min walking distance from down town. Hotel has a pool and access to a beach in the lake. Rooms are very nice, great views and the food at the restaurant was outstanding. Only great things to say about this place and can’t wait to come back

1. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. 2. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well serviced. 3. Wifi is appalling. Very weak signal except in some of the the common parts. 4. The temperature spa is cold, the windows are a poor fit which makes wearing a costume very uncomfortable and the jacuzzi is at too low a temperature. The swimming pool however is really warm, and clean. 5. As mentioned by others as steam room and sauna are a bit past their sell by date but functional. 6. My biggest complaint is the breakfast. There is no egg station so consequently the only eggs available are the scrambled eggs in the buffet. Once they've set there for a while they are cold and congealed. The plastic screens around the food with the waiter behind them is one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. I presume it's a way to try and cut down on portions. The fact that you have to ask for everything from cereals to jam makes me feel like i'm begging for food. The offering itself is very heavy on sweet stuff. No yoghurt for example,, limited cold meats which were available in the 4 other hotels I stayed in, in Argentina within the same price range.

The layout of the hotel meant that those rooms overlooking the bars or restaurant were very noisy. Some of the windows were cracked and needed a good clean and the common areas generally were in need of a refresh. Room-wise the bed was comfortable, the jacuzzi bath a bonus but the safe didn’t work, 2 radiators couldn’t be turned off despite our requests to reception, the door cards were unreliable and no irons were available (a paid ironing service was offered instead). The choice at breakfast was very good but as other reviews noted, a fair portion of food was served by staff behind screens which was odd. The pool area was lovely but the jacuzzi was not working. The sauna was good but the steam room was old, missing tiles and didn’t drain properly. Staff wise, some (housekeeping and restaurant) were very nice but others (the men on reception) were at best disinterested and at worst rude. So overall some good and bad giving an overall average review. It’s a pity because with some management and a little investment this could be a great hotel with fantastic views.

Don’t miss Live Saxophone & Carinet Music Every Monday & Thursday at 8PM in the big hall with Prof. Ricardo Villar #ricardovillarsax, one of the best, if not the best musician of Bariloche. He plays everything from Jazz to Rock/ Pop, just ask! You will not be disappointed, I promise!

The hotel is located on the lake and very close to the city centrum. It has a gorgeous view of the lake so take advantage of that if you choose to stay there otherwise you will be frustrated. The breakfast is very nice and it is hard to avoid the sweets. Staff is also very friendly. The indoor pool is nice to relax after a day in the mountains and they have live jazz and bossa nova music some nights to top the evenings!

A delightful stay! The hotel is located overlooking the lake and about 10-15 mins walk to the street where all the chocolate shops are. Our room which was on the ground floor was lovely. It was a great size with a good modern bathroom. Being on the ground floor, we could walk out to the lake which was lovely. The bar is great place for drinks and a chance to meet fellow travellers. The drinks are reasonably priced too! The restaurant had a good selection of food (Im vegetarian and enjoyed my meal). The breakfast selection was good too-with plenty of choice. My favourite though was the indoor pool which was heated just at the right temperature and looking out to the Andes.
