It really depends what room you get. I was twice there. The first time I booked lake view and got a room on the 5th floor with a great view to the lake an mountains. The room was quite large and comfortable. The second time I booked city view. The room was very small, noisy from the street and less comfortable. For the small price difference you should book the lake view room and ask for a room in the upper part of the building. The facility is generally a bit outdated.

Nice family run hotel in a central location in Bariloche…nothing fancy but most importantly clean and quiet. Free parking is available as well as free breakfast. Abt 4000 pesos for taxi from airport to hotel. Will definitely stay if visiting Bariloche again.

Good location, nice breakfast meal and a neat place to eat, amazing staff, nearby shops, pharmacy, restaurants, centro cívico and playa centro, beds are confortable, have a safe, mini fridge, tv and strong and good WiFI, is a good 3 stars hotel but need some improvements, and my main concern is the bathroom, looks tired and old and sketchy, and the rooms fronting the main street with not AC, does not help with the noise, ie a busy street, is necessarily to keep the window open at the room, so when you book a room get one with a view to the lake, maybe will be quieter, is in a great location also to be pickup by the tours companies, another tip, request a taxi from the hotel to pick you up at the airport, is good choice, and they did it for me, thank you!, around 4300 pesos the taxi fare, the communication with the hotel with the app (Booking) and email was really good and they responded any of my concern or request really quickly. Notice too that you will need to pay as a tourist a tax fee to the local authorities (Eco Tax) at the check in, cash, credit card, which you will do at any hotel in Bariloche.

We were in Tirol for a week and we had a great time. The hotel is great, very nice view, very good service, excellent breakfast and very comfortable bedroom, besides it's a couple of blocks away from downtown. I highly suggest you stay at this hotel.

The hotel staff was VERY nice. I travel very often and the staff here were some of the friendliest I've encountered in a long time. We stayed one night, checked out for one night (in order to camp at Refugio Meiling), and came back for 3 more nights. The first night we stayed was not pleasant: we were on the 1st floor facing the main road, and there was A LOT of noise from the bar down the street. We didn't get to sleep until 3am. We checked out that morning, leaving our bags behind, and returned the following night. When we got back, the staff had put our bags into our new room already and didn't require us to check in again! Very convenient. They put us into the same room, only one floor up (2nd floor) for the following 3 nights and it wasn't as noisy. The breakfast is simple but adequate (if you have a gluten or lactose allergy however, there were not many options. I'd suggest calling the hotel ahead of time to ask if there are special options that can be made available to you in this case). The view of the lake and mountain from the breakfast area was lovely, a great way to start each morning. The hotel was perfect walking distance from most things downtown (just 2 blocks from the civic center) and included parking for our rental car.

We stayed two nights in a city view room. We decided not to pay extra for a view as we planned to be out and about for most of the time. We arrived early and dropped our bags for a walk around the town. The hotel is right in the middle of everything so the location is pretty much perfect. There was some late night Street noise on one night but that wasn't the hotel's fault. The bed was large and comfortable and everything was clean. My only criticism is that the shower head needed de-scaling as the water flow was quite weak. Breakfast buffet was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We'd stay here again.

I travel to Bariloche twice a year and this was my first stay at Hotel Tirol and it is now my favorite. Run like a true Hotel found in the Tirol (lived there for 4 years). Clean cozy rooms with lake views in the middle of town. Great breakfast and a staff that goes the extra mile to provide service and help. My criteria for a Hotel is it clean is it in a safe area and is the staff trained and enthusiastic, and Hotel Tirol meets and exceeds.

My wife and i recently stayed 3 nights at the Tirol. We requested and received a high floor overlooking the lake. The receptionist ( from Brasil, don't remember name) was outstanding, friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast was first rate and accommodated our early leaving in the AM for tours. The location near, the civic center, across beach and restaurants is excellent. We had been to Bariloche twice before, stayed at good hotels but this was by far the best.

The hotel is walking distance to the main restaurants, breweries and chocolate shops. Views towards the lake are amazing. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is a nice spread. Parking is available but can be tight. There was no AC in room but windows open to allow in cool night air.
