Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Centrally located. Within walking distance to downtown street. Tour buse to El Chalten and Perito Merino stopped by the hotel to pick us up. Very friendly front desk lady/owner, Sue Won, originally from Korea. Her brother came to Argentina 50 years ago and owns other motels/properties. Shared some of her personal stories as well. Very nice. She spoke decent English. Difficult to find English speaking people in Argentina. Sue was very helpful and made our stay very homely. Gave us some good tips on currency conversion which is a big mess in Argentina with the exchange rates…..

After our booking was cancelled last minute with another hotel. The owners here were extremely accommodating of our last minute booking. The room was spacious, clean and in keeping of the local area. The apartments had clearly been built with care and attention and with travellers in mind. The location was also perfect to walk to the restaurants and bars of the town. From the moment we arrived the owners were extremely helpful. They spoke great English, which was useful given our limited Spanish. The trips they recommended were fantastic including the Santa Cruz Kayaking which was our favourite thing to do in El Calafete. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay for those looking to explore the natural wonders of Patagonia.

Linda Vista Apart Hotel has fulfilled our accomodation needs while in El Calafate. All of the staff that we encountered were helpful and friendly. We felt we were treated like family. Okay, most of the staff are not fluent in English but tried hard to communicate with us throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, living area and small breakfast area was sufficient enough. The location is perfect, close to everything and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, money changer, grocery store and bakeries. We highly recommend Linda Vista Apart Hotel to anyone visiting El Calafate.

Beds are small. Flat tv is 19 inches. Heating is not working. Bathroom is quite old . Staff is not friendly, and not fluent in Spanish. The location is good. And El Calafate is a safe city. But for the price you will find better options nearby. Think well before complete your registration

I don't know where to begin, but in retrospect this was the best hotel on our 20 day long trip. We stayed in NH hitels in BA and others in El Chalten and Iguazu, but LindaVista was the best! I had booked 7 days in advance and it was high season (january 2022), so, initially I was glad to have anything at all. After some finetuning of our itriniary, I asked for these 7 days to be split som we can spend two nights in El Chalten. This was granted without further problems. To the facts: The apartments are located in a few houses made of local wood. Solid and with a very warm feeling. They are large (!) and can easily accomodate 5 people. We had some very cold days but the heating was perfect! The whole place is run by a Korean family - and with allmost all family bussiness' they have their heart in it. They are very friendly, flexible and really want you to feel at home. The hotel is located close to the main street, but far enough to be quiete adn close to the lake. Everything can be reached in walking distance, and it is still very secluded. Which brings me to my statement: When we returned from El Chalten (Piedras de Patagonia: Loud, cold and small) for two more nights, it really felt like coming home again. For me, the only reason to come back to Argentinia, is Patagonia. I would defintely stay once more in the Lindavista hotel m, I would visit El chalten again, and than I would drive further south and east. Many thanks again to rthat wounderfull korean family that runs the hotel

This hotel was everything we needed it to be - clean, within walking distance to restaurants, and affordable. Unexpected and most appreciated was the kind family who runs the hotel - they patiently drew our walking path on a map, lended us a phone charger, and made dinner reservations for us! The breakfast was delicious and fueled us for a long day of hiking.

Great cabin for family of 5 adults. Very affordable and great at communicating before we arrived. The cabin was perfectly clean and had plenty of room for all of us. Great location walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. The hotel helped order packed lunches from Enjoy Eats that were excellent for our day trip to Perito Moreno.

Had a night booked here and when we landed in Puerto Natales Chile that afternoon, found out from Europcar that we needed 48 hours for permit to drive their car to Argentina. This was not communicated anywhere from Expedia and turned out to be specific to Europcar. We were with an exhausted toddler walking back and forth between car rental places in town trying to find a vehicle. We found a local place but they didn’t have a car until the next day. Cancelled Europcar but Linda Vista refused to help even though I called as soon as I knew. They told me to work through Expedia. They said my reservation was non-refundable and that was that. Since then Expedia has been trying to help and reach them since the whole experience was stressful and frustrating and we had to find alternate hotel that night at like 4:30 pm. However this hotel first refused and then stopped responding to Expedia. It seems as though keeping the one night fee for two rooms (we were also with my parents) was more important than trying to help out or have any understanding / empathy. Just a warning that this hotel is not flexible at all and as of now not responsive 2 weeks later.

We had an amazing time at Linda Vista. The room was nice and clean, and the location was only a 5 minute walk to town. Also, the continental breakfast was great, they'll even scramble eggs for you upon request. But the best part was the staff. They booked all of our excursions for us. When they accidentally booked our airport transfer for the wrong day, they arranged for a taxi to pick us up for the shuttle price. When one of the excursion companies forgot to pick me up, they sped me to the bus station before the excursion bus took off. When my friend got very sick, they even brought her tea and rice, and checked in on her daily. I really cannot say enough nice things about them. I would highly recommend them. The only thing to be prepared for is the WiFi is weak in some of the rooms.
