The views are outstanding at this estancia. The trip to the estancia is also quite beautiful. It was quite a long ride approximately 25 - 35 minutes riding on rough dirt roads to reach the estancia. I found it a little confusing upon arrival as to where to park and enter the main building. Nobody offered to help with the...

Once you get to El Calafate to sail on Lake Argentina and watch the glaciers you may consider staying on an Estancia in lieu of a regular hotel. It is definitely different. It is a 90 min off road trip into the wilderness. Rooms are simple but clean, historic and charming. Food is simple hearty and tasty. Staff is very...

It takes about two hours to reach this remote estancia near the Chilean border, but it is well worth the journey. We were warmly greeted and escorted on a hike around the principal grounds. Then we saw a sheep shearing demonstration. Our meal in the cookhouse was a fabulous representation of a gaucho parrillo. Then a gaucho took us on...

It will take you almost 2 hours on a bumpy gravel road to reach this Estancia - the last on the long road into the national park, located on the southern side of the national park. It could give you the feeling of travelling to the end of the world. But what a treat awaits you when you get to...

Was sold to me as a Ranch Day, I did not stay there. Was ok, but not really a 'day' at a ranch. Arrived at the ranch at 9:30 and left after lunch before 2. Before lunch a guide gave us some history of the ranch and walked us down to the lake. Was very pretty. Then a quick demonstration...

A friend and I recently stayed at the Estancia on our trek through Patagonia and it was one of the highlights of our trip. After a bumpy 1.5 hour ride, you arrive at the estancia, which is positioned on a piece of sprawling beautiful land at the base of the Cervantes glacier. When you arrive, you immediately feel welcome with...

The food was good but they are very skimpy. Only 1 bottle of water or glass of wine. Second is charged at $3.00 for a small bottle of water and $6.00 for a cheap glass of wine. It's a full day in the Estancia you would assume for what they charge water would be provided. The sheep demonstration was fun...

Dear visitor, Thank you for your review. It is always good to know our guests experience. We appologize if the meals did not reach your expectations. It is a tradition in Argentina to serve "asado" with diferent salads. In Nibepo Aike most of the salads ingredients are from our organic garden. We are a cattle ranch, beside a tourist ranch....

There are the views, which are absolutely breathtaking. There are the excursions, that are absolutely amazing. There are the walks into the mountains and by the lake, that are absolutely relaxing. There is the food, which is absolutely delicious. There are the daily horse rides, that are absolutely wonderful. And there is the estancia, which provides an at-home comfort which...

We stayed there 2 nights during our trip to Patagonia, but all of us wanted to have stayed longer. The people are very friendly and the food very good. Once day we had "asado" and the lamb was even better than in the good restaurant in Buenos Aires! The rooms are huge and the ambiente is very nice - with...
