This small hotel is very well located, near the shopping street and restaurants. Even though, it can still be quiet, cosy and with a warm atmosphere. Mariano helped us with excursions. Everybody is very friendly. The room is beautiful, modern and very clean. Breakfast is good.

A small and very friendly boutique hotel. In a central location in El Calafate. Walking distance to main street, restaurants and nearby nature reserve on Lagos Argentino. Welcome was very friendly and helpful from receptionist. Excellent service for breakfast, and early access on a day trip where we had an early pickup. Lovely wood finishes in public areas. Nice upstairs...

Starting with Mariano, one of the owners, who emailed me in a conversation before our trip with ideas andsuggestions, to the entire staff who assisted us with smiles and pleasant discussions, the level of effort they put in really pays off. We truly felt like welcome guests whose needs were looked after happily. We stayed on the first floor and...

Nice simple rooms and breakfast, much nicer than the photo. BUT mainly Mariano and his staff took care of me personally and made sure everything worked for me at all times! Could have stayed a month. Really nice helpful and knowledgeable people. Thank you!

This quiet hotel was a perfect place for our 3 night stay in Calafate. Mariano picked us up from the bus station when we arrived and took us the the airport when we left. He offered to help us with tours of the area but we had already booked the activities before we arrived. The room was warm and inviting...

Unfortunately the owner ruined my trip to El Calafate. In communication with him 2 weeks before my arrival, and relying on glowing reviews on the place and him, I requested a Private Tour to Perito Moreno glacier. When I arrived 2 things happened: 1. The hotel did not show for the airport pick but also did not inform me of...

We stayed for a couple days in November with my wife, our kids and my parents. My wife got a LOT of help planning things from Mariano (the owner) in advance via email. He ended up picking us up from the airport himself and taking us out to Los Glaciares national park on our first day, and then driving us...

Bottom line: a summary for those who have no time to read the full story which is indeed long. Rooms are very dark, cellar like, the heating is always off, the size is small, bed are quite uncomfortable and the service is hopeless. All this for usd 130 a day in low season (to be paid in CASH). Wifi works...

not many rooms - but very friendly. Owner speaks good English and is very helpful - as are all the staff. Had breakfast there one morning which was excellent. Quiet location but 5 mins walk to centre. Excellent advise on tours. Be careful though as payments are cash only
