Stayed here 2 nights as part of and prior to our Antarctica cruise with Quark Expeditions. This rustic wooden hotel was a bit far (6 km) from Ushuaia downtown but they provided free shuttle (didn't get to use it). Room and bathroom were of old stye but spacious and clean. Breakfast and dinner were nothing to complain or brag about....

We stayed there in Feb 2016. Hotel is located out of Ushuaia downtown, which is cons. But Pros is hotel provides free shuttle several times a day to/from Ushuaia downtown, which was very decent and helpful. Keep in mind taxi will cost about $120 Argentinian pesos one way to/from Ushuaia downtown to/from hotel. Hotel provides really amazing views - ether...

Positives - Amazing views all around the place. From the mountains to the channel. Mother Nature was everywhere! - Staff were very friendly and helpful. Someone was always available if needed. - Shuttle was very useful when you needed to go into town. Just be cautious of the time. - Rooms were nice, wifi was not the best, but it...

Very nice staff and modern, clean and large rooms. Food in the restaurant was fabulous. A fair way out of the town but with shuttle buses running every so often that wasn't too bad, they didn't go too late at night though so that meant you had to get a taxi from Ushuaia (which are fairly cheep but more expensive...

Great views , shuttle to town reasonable food & service good. Bit like a faded ski lodge but still comfortable. Heating a bit close but with outside temp probably unavoidable. Nice walking around and great views as on the side of a hill. Magnificent sunsets!!

At first, we were upset that we had to transfer to this hotel before our Antarctica excursion. However, it was a totally, pleasant surprise. Compared to where we stayed previously, our room was spacious, and it was a nice change of pace to be in a neighborhood. We had read other reviews and were prepared for the worst, but, again...

The room was a sauna, sweat dripping off. Opened the two tiny side windows and the door to the room, closed the curtains(to keep the sun out). It didn't cool down until 0400 am. No fans to use. They said there was transportion, but it was not available this day. Had to walk a mile down the road to catch...

This hotel is quite a way out of town, and is definitely very tired... The hotel overlooks the Beagle Channel, and across the water to Chile, and the views are wonderful. The room was a nice big room, with a king size and a single bed. The mattress was also old and tired, but was okay. The shower is in...

The hotel was a bit run-down, but fabulous views from the room and the restaurant. It is outside of town. We needed to use taxis to get to and from the restaurants and shopping area. The hotel did have a shuttle, but the last pick-up in town was 7:30 and the nicer restaurants did not open until 8 pm...a bit...

We stayed here for two nights before our Antarctic expedition left Ushuaia. The hotel is set up on a hill with beautiful views from all directions. It's also quite a quiet hotel, even when it's completely full as it was for us. The rooms were quite large, but were not what would be considered "modern." The beds were quite old...
