We wanted to relax for a couple days after a long Antarctic cruise. Patagonia Villas was perfect. A short taxi ride from downtown, the Villas are nestled in a hillside forest. Marcela welcomed us warmly and had answers for all our questions in excellent English. She even organized for our laundry to be done. We were treated royally throughout our...

While Ushuaia hadn't originally been on our itinerary, we ended up in this stunning locale when our visas for Brazil hadn't come through. We soon began to believe the 'set-up' to be providential! General manager Luciana radiated enthusiasm and helpfulness; all her suggestions for places to visit and things to do fit us perfectly. The quiet, rural mountainside cabins are...

Stayed here for 3 nights on a visit to Ushuaia in September 2014. Excellent setting amongst trees, very quiet. A Short walk to town (with great views over the channel) or a very cheap cab fare. Room was good and very well provisioned. Service was outstanding from both Luciana and Marcela. Luciana met me at the front gate on arrival...

Home away from home. Let me start from the beginning: I booked 3 months in advance, Luciana was always in touch letting me know updates about booking, explaining all related with tours and any issues regarding our trip. Days prior our arrival Luciana took her vacations and MARCELA took over. She is a wonderful host, arranged all related with tours...

My wife and I were staying for about 5 nights. Cleanliness: Perfect, always clean, tidy, linen changing every day you need, they always made sure to ask you before going to clean and if they have to go for any reason, they also warned you, showing great respect for the guests. Comfort: We stayed in the suite and it is...

We stayed here for three nights in March 2014. We had our own cabin which was quite spacious, with living room, kitchen and bathroom downstairs and the bed upstairs. While we liked this, it might not be convenient for older people or others having trouble with stairs. You make your own breakfast, supplies are provided. You can also buy water,...

First the accommodations is very spacious and clean and the staff is very friendly. However, there is no service (or few) and the hotel is quite far from downtown, so if you have don't have a car you will probably waste a lot of time and money with taxis (or walk a lot). We had a great time at Patagonia...

This was a great way to experience Ushuaia - we could spend the days walking Tierra del Fuego or up the Glaciar and then spend the nights in a lovely secluded cabin in the forest. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly and speak excellent English. Cabins are clean, warm and spacious with lots of lovely windows on to the...

This is a lovely place to stay so I'll get the main drawback out of the way quickly - from the gate there are flights of wooden steps to reception which are very difficult to negotiate with suitcases. This is a problem for which there is no obvious solution. We asked to check in early and were fortunate to be...
