I stayed there for a week while I was exploring Baños de Agua Santa. Everything was kept clean and working (though I was my room had a towel hook in the bathroom). They have a cozy social room with pool table, small tables, a bar, tasty cafe for a variety of food options and a couple couches to watch movies on; plus a outdoor fire pit, hammocks, bicycles to rent, and plenty of green space for outdoor yoga types. All the staff were friendly and helpful but Sebastian a bilingual California dude knows Baños like the back of his hand. He offered plenty of useful info, helped me book things, and was down to have some drinks and plays with the crew, even had a fun group karaoke night :)! He just really helped break up the friend cliques and get everyone to socialize and have fun. Which for me is a big part of staying in hostels. Wish I could remember the rest of the staffs names for shout outs. Salud! Great Hostel…

Cleaning, the bed, the place, the ambience were fine. But the rooms smelled full of weed, even at the middle of the night. I would like to suggest to place a sign “not to smoke” near or in the rooms..

we spent two nights there what was really good fun. on the first day we did the biking tour to the water falls which is really worth it. you see some nice nature and have a shuttle back up for 3$ and went a bit clubbing in the evening. the hostel is very chill with nice staff and the beds are very comfortable. you also have warm water in the shower and you can do your laundry for 5$.

The hostel is great, the rooms are nice and clean and the employers are kind and talkative. The vibe is great, it is a party hostel so it is a great place to meet new people and to have a good time. We really enjoyed our stay but you have to bear in mind that it is a party hostel so there will be some noice but that is a part of the charm for me.

Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve been too! Met nice people, plenty of activities to do that they can help with, or if you want to chill there is plenty of people too! Willing to help with almost anything, going above and beyond!! Even after I’d left I had help from them to recover something I’d left without any hesitation. This is for certainly the best party hostel in town if you're into that. We had a private room with my friend - unfortunately the fire alarm was beeping every ten seconds (battery low?) For three nights in a row. The only mirror in our room was so small and high up that we had to stand on the toilet to be able to see our faces. The breakfast is fine. The staff made me feel uncomfortable tho - the bartender is nice, but we were met by a very rude volunteer when we first arrived at the hostel. She told us she just started a couple days ago but that is no excuse to be rude. For example, my friend asked how much the room was per night, to which this lady replied passive-aggressively "I don't know!!" Like we should have known that she didn't know such unimportant things at the reception desk of a hostel. The owner gives an slightly unprofessional vibe - either hangover or flirting with girls - but he is helpful and nice. But yeah, the social aspect of this hostel is very good. …

We really liked our stay at this hostel. Due to Covid everything is different now. There's of course nothing going on at the hostel because we were almost the only guests. Perfect for us though - we had a very quiet night, great internet/wifi, delicious breakfast (finally bread again). We also got perfectly warm water (you have to wait for a while, like almost everywhere). Friendly staff. Would go there again! At the moment the kitchen isn't well equipped anymore, probably due to Covid.

I love Ecuador and in 6 trips I've done in Ecuador I've never received such a terrible customer service. The staff was firstly rude over the phone when we tried to book it. Then upon our arrival late at night, the staff made a mistake with our booking and denied to accept their responsibility about it. If you ask me, the guys was high as a kite. After calling out it's poor behaviour, the staff wanted to kick us out in the middle of the night after we already paid!! It was absolutely outrageous! You guys should really start learning how to treat your customers better.

Pro: This was one of my favorite cheap places we have stayed during out travels. It's off a minor street at the end of town near hot springs. They provided free caps that are needed to go to the nearby hot springs. The area is quit compared to most places I've stayed. The "free" pasta dinner was nice. The common cafe area is cool especially at night where you can play foosball or pool for free. The drinks are also good and well priced. There are very well behaved dogs and cats hanging out at the property. Hammocks are available to lounge on (we did for about 45 min while it was raining). Really comfortable beds even compared to most nicer 4 star hotels we have also stayed at while traveling around Ecuador. Con: We had the private room in the back with the "mountain view". It didn't have a mountain view as that view was blocked by bushes. Floors made white socks dirty. Bathroom is small and doesn't go all the way up (no privacy) but they have bathrooms in the main cafe area.…

This hostel is great if... 1. You like barking dogs early in the morning and late at night 2. You like tiny, tiny bathrooms 3. You like scolding hot or freezing cold showers 4. You like bread for breakfast 5. You like terrible wifi This place did have beautiful views and friendly staff.
