Aniva is extraordinarily friendly, welcoming and sociable. Her place is quiet and yet just a short walk from central Apia. I enjoyed the simple but delicious breakfast including fresh fruit, and sitting on the veranda in the evening, being refreshed by a nice breeze. Would definitely love to stay there again.

Home away from home. Lovely staff and very gracious host. not far from hospital, shops, taxi stands, literally all in walking distance. rooms are all airconditioned (with fans), shared amenities, but some rooms have their own private bathrooms. Breakfast is served every morning (complementary) from 7am - 9 am. Bar, and pool available as well. I enjoyed my stay there... More

We are a family of 6 transiting through Apia on our way home. Spent 3 nights. It is quite difficult to find a place that is decent to stay and does not break our budget for a family of 6. Lady Aniva was very helpful as we were running out options on where to stay. She offered the price of... More

This place serves its purpose and was inexpensive. We wanted aircon and a pool and weren't fussed about anything else. I'd recommend this place for those on a budget for sure. And location is great too.

Aniva's place is like your own home in a tropical garden, in the paradise that is Samoa. The B&B is in a quiet street but very close to shops, restaurants and attractions. There is everything to make yourself comfortable including a verandah to sit and watch the world go by, lounge area, bar, swimming pool, beautiful breakfasts and lovely kind... More

We stayed at Aniva's and were well looked after by Aniva and her staff Sia and Nina. We even booked for a further stay when we were returning from a stay in a local village ... We felt like we were coming home. We took advantage of the 35ST pp for a home cooked dinner by Sia and were spoilt... More

This review is WAY overdue (we went in January 2015); sorry for the delay, but we still have VERY fond memories of Aniva's Place. Aniva is a warm and welcoming host, we gladly had wonderful conversations with her. She is authentic and gives great advise about Samoa, what to see, do, and where to eat. She is a a modern... More

I really loved Anivas place. Aniva is such a caring and wonderful woman, helpful with everything you need. The room was very nice and spacious. Nice large bathroom, excellent and very silent air conditioner, good and refreshing pool, that is so nice in the heat of Samoa. Excellent breakfast. I could not wish for more. When I had booked a... Aniva's place is a very clean and inviting place where our family of 17 stayed for two weeks in March and April of 2016. We were made to be comfortable and well cared for throughout our visit. The daily breakfasts were wonderful, and Aniva even made sure that we had proper food on Sundays when most restaurants are closed in... More

My husband was in Apia for a Family funeral recently. Unfortunately he became unwell and needed somewhere comfortable to stay outside of the villiage. I contacted Aniva through email requesting a room as soon as possible. Aniva responded promptly and organised a room for him at very short notice. My husband was very impressed with the genuine hospitality he received... More
