I had initially booked here in hopes to getting to Havasu Falls but I needed to book that a year ahead.
I was not within the hotel cancellation period which was four days prior to my stay so we went anyway.
The room was not...More

We stayed here and embraced the uniqueness of the place. Think about it, how many times do you spend a night on an Indian Reservation!! The staff was wonderful and so accommodating. Yes, the trains are noisy, but ask for a road side room (...More

Thank you for staying at Hualapai Lodge and for your review. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your visit and our staff.
We stayed here as part of a 2-day white water rafting trip. It's not fancy but it was a nice, clean room and exactly what I'd expect at the price point we paid. Beds were comfortable. They offered earplugs for the frequent trains, but we...More

We were expecting a nice hotel to go with our rafting trip. If you can sleep through 4 trains per hour blowing their horns right outside your room then this is the place for you. The ear plugs don't help. My family didn't sleep at...More

We are sorry to read you didn't enjoy your stay at Hualapai Lodge. An attempt is made to let guests know about the train noise and the hotel offers complimentary earplugs which in your case sounds like it didn't work. We apologize for any problems...More

The Hualupai River Runners is the only outfit that does a one-day white water rafting trip in the Canyon. I suggest you book it early. We booked six months in advance. The package comes with or without the helicopter ride out of the canyon. I recommend spending the extra for the helicopter ride, which is only about 10 minutes and drops you to where you can do the skywalk. We stayed at the Hualupai Lodge the night before the rafting and the night after the rafting. If you call the lodge, I believe there was a booking agent there. The next closest town to the lodge is about an hour away if you are looking for other lodging. I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any more questions.
