This facility is very classy and top notch. There are so many locations on the grounds to have a quiet read, play lawn bowling, or go for a swim. The rooms are luxurious. Ours was with a claw foot tub and complimentary bathing salts. The dining areas and conference facilities were extremely nice. I did not appreciate that it was...

I have stayed at Royal Palms several times over the years and every time I come back it reinforces my belief that is is one of the best kept secrets in Scottsdale. I was attending a business conference and waiting too late to book my room at the conference hotel. A quick check of the Royal Palms rate and I...

After waiting about 45 minutes for a room to be readied (after check-in time), I inquired and said I had been waiting and was given a free upgrade to a suite. Plenty of room and not noisy even though traffic on Camelback Rd was visible from our window. Grounds are beautiful. Housekeeping service was good. Had breakfast one morning and...

Very Nice property. Low key and quiet. Our suite was fantastic. A bit of a romantic place. It's a converted 1920's mansion so some of the older feel cannot be replaced but it did not detract. Staff and service was top notch. Easy to get around as the property is not that large. Fireplaces outside at night are a nice...

I have never stayed here, but I always make it a point to have cocktails here whenever I visit Phoenix. The entire setting is an old hacienda from the good ol' wild west days, and, although this is a hotel, it has a very private home like atmosphere. You can enjoy cocktail either out in the open garden courtyards or...

An ultra high end resort perfect for a weekend escape. The more we travel, especially for leisure, the more my wife and I gravitate toward smaller, more intimate and unique properties and the Royal Palms was exactly what we were hoping for. We booked a "designer casita" which featured a comfy 4-poster bed, beautiful gas fireplace (turns on with a...

Lovely and unique hotel with excellent staff, service and facilities. Marvelous location. To stay in one of the casitas is wonderful experience. You very much feel like an invited and familiar guest to be catered to and relaxed.

This is a hard hotel to rate. On the upside the grounds are absolutely beautiful and perfectly kept. The staff were friendly and the overall uniqueness of the property makes for a nice atmosphere. On the downside was the room. Maybe our experience was unique but the hallway leading to the room smelt musty and we noticed in the two...

Rooms were nice and large and clean. Check in was a little slow and unorganised. Stayed there for NY and the resort was dead. They attempted a NYE pool party with a DJ and there was one guy sitting at the bar. Had a bit of a dead vibe.
