The upside is that the Hassayampa was within walking distance to every where we were going and was full of charm! The lobby had a great little sitting area with a fireplace. Keep in mind that the hotel is very old and so is most of the stuff in it. We booked one of the king suites. It was an...

We have stayed here twice, getting a great price both times. This is a beautiful historic hotel. The rooms are a bit small, but I think they were back then. Some people talk about ghosts at this hotel so we played that up and scared our fellow travels!

A friend recommended staying here, as we were interested in "haunted" hotels. Room was adequate for 4, however double beds are too small to comfortably fit 2 adults. Loved the historic charm, original elevator, memorabilia. Bathroom is microscopic, compared to modern hotels. Hotel restaurant served a wonderful breakfast, but was overpriced, as most are. I'd give this hotel more stars but my reasons are listed below. Check in easy, although you have to park across the street, no biggie, grounds, hotel, absolutely stunning. Hotel was built in 1927 so just know, your room will be tiny. I will say that I was impressed with the fact that they provided USB and 110 charging ports...
