I stayed at Sheldon St Lodge last May. I was greeted by the 2 cats and the landlord, who was very considerate during my whole stay. The room is indeed small but very cosy, with kitchenette and fridge and micro-wave, which was perfect to take my breakfast before leaving for the day. There is not a lot of natural light...

The Sheldon St Lodge has undergone many changes in its lifetime..... some good, some not so good. Its most recent incarnation is one of its best. Old west charm in every room. The management is always on hand and ready to assist with any needs. Historic downtown Prescott, the site of many of the town's activities is only a block...

I stayed here last minute to take in one of the craft festivals and loved the western decor ,cute rooms and walking distance to downtown shops and square. The bathroom was very small adequate and my room had a little sitting room separate from the bedroom. Your car is right outside your room so very easy to bring in your...

After calling Colleen, February of '15, about her web page offering of "If you are a new student seeking temporary housing while you search for that perfect apartment or are thinking of relocating to the area call us for our reasonable weekly rates", I was informed that the reasonable weekly rate was $415!! Imagine, a month stay for only $1660!...

I was greeted by the owner, Colleen, and shown the rooms available that day, for I literally just "dropped on her doorstep" and she made me feel instantly welcomed. The lobby had me "at hello" so Western, so warm, so well appointed, so updated 1945 !!! I chose a room that was interior, quaint and 1945 small but power-packed and...

Stayed here for three nights at the end of September. The biggest problem we had with this hotel was the fact that I booked a mid-sized room at the beginning of September to prevent any issues like the one we encountered. We had to bring our dog as we were waiting our house to close escrow and the entire town...

We stayed at Sheldon St. Lodge for the first time for 2 nights in July. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Whiskey Row and to a large park where we could walk our 2 dogs who came with us. We stayed in Room #3 which is right next to the intersection of Marina and Hwy 89. The light...

Colleen and Tom and the cats are awesome hosts. Quaint and near everything is within walking distance. The only reason for a four on location is the parking and front are right on Sheldon which can intimidate with kids or dogs. However, except for room 3, you cannot hear the traffic. Again. Best. Place. In. Prescott.

I stayed here for a one night trip in Prescott. Rooms are small but great. I thought it was a nice break from the usual hotel/b&b. I loved the western decor. This is a 1945 motel upgraded with a western theme. The rooms are lovely and bathrooms clean but small - but what else would you expect from a motel built in 1945? A slighly cramped bedroom and small restroom is worth the atmosphere. It appears the original motel was expanded with a wooden porch and sitting rooms. We loved sitting...
