Like many of you I read the review on here and decided to take a chance on a little family owned establishment smack dab in the heart of Sedona. When we checked in we met a lovely lady by the name of Marcel, my apologies if I've misspelled it, once to owner operator of Star Motel now retired she still...

We stayed at Star Motel for 3 nights, based on Trip Advisor reviews. It is a great family owned motel, not fancy, but a nice clean room with a very helpful owner and staff. Our room had a fridge and microwave so we ate a couple of budget dinners out on their covered patio. The Wi-Fi worked well. It is...

This hotel was in a very central spot to walk to all the attractions and restaurants in town. We didn't need the car at all to get around Sedona. The owner, Ann, was so very nice and accommodating. She gave great recommendations for what to see and go in a short time. Definitely visit Red Rock State Park, Jerome, AZ...

This was our first time to Sedona, Arizona and it was a great jump-off spot. We were mildly surprised how touristy 'uptown' Sedona is but quickly realized why. A wonderful spot! Star Motel is .... well, look up and look for the star....a great place for neophytes to start exploring the area. Glad we were there - as budget travellers...

Stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon. Nice friendly motel right in the heart of beautiful uptown Sedona. Room was king sized with comfy bed with a fridge & coffee machine. We were in room 2 (right hand end of building as you look at it) so wifi did not reach that far (router is in main reception). There...

We reserved room 10 after reading reviews and the view is spectacular. It did rain while we visited but that was part of the entertainment, watching the clouds come through the mountains and the waterfalls form. We did bring in food and drink to eat on the covered deck and really enjoyed the changing colors of the red rocks. Our...

Stayed at the Star Motel for a second time, and had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the stores and restaurants in Uptown Sedona. The rooms are clean, comfortable, with everything one would need. If you are looking for a reasonably-priced spot in a great location with friendly and attentive staff, this is your spot....

But of a late review, we stayed here in march, 2013, had a room on the ground floor, nice and big, with a small kitchenette area, Kettle, Microwaves, etc. Enough though is it just of the main rain, there was no road noise at all, the room was nice and comfortable and clean, also had a small table with two...

The Star Motel is a fantastic place to stay in Sedona. We were lucky to stay in room #10 (the only second floor room) for a week: Double queen beds, couch, coffee table, a great kitchen and mountain views from every window—even the bathroom shower. The finest part of that room could be the scenic patio with a table, chairs...

This was my second trip to Sedona. We stayed at a rather lah-dee-dah hotel our first trip. Twice the money. The view was nice but only if you walked out to it. The location was a drive to uptown Sedona. The Star Motel, on the other hand, is located right smack dab in the middle of all the shops -...
