My husband and I stayed six nights at The Cozy Cactus, and we loved every minute of our time here, Mark, Carrie and heir gorgeous dog Tequila are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. The property is very well appointed, with so many extra touches that made our stay just wonderful. They have...

And we love you two! Is it 2018? Explanation for folks reading this response, we are hoping to visit New Zealand in 2018, and look forward to spending some time with our new friends. Thank you for sharing your stay and experience. We understand that we cannot be all things to all people (or the right Bed and Breakfast for...

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Cozy Cactus. This. Place. Is. Amazing. Cozy, clean and numerous small "touches" that made us feel at home. Mark, Carrie and their loving dog, Tequila, instantly made us feel like family. They have a special, laid back touch. Enjoy Carrie's delicious breakfast (they best we've had) every morning, complete with perfectly...

Minneapolis...burrrrr - I think it is like 12 degrees as I type this response, would it be mean for me to say that I see some of our guests coming back from a hike? (Mark says yes, that was mean - I'll fess up I'm wearing socks). So next February when you have had enough of that white stuff, we...

My husband & I and another couple stayed in the Cowboy Hideaway 2 bedroom condo for 4 nights. It was a perfect arrangement - comfortable beds, 2 spacious baths & a living room/kitchen area that was perfect for us to hang out or to play cards & games. Best of all were our hosts - Mark, Carrie & the 4...

Well howdy partners, sure glad you liked the grub- (get it, Cowboy Hideaway condo) - but seriously, don't your remember that the Vortex (Bell Rock in the backyard) burns all calories so guests get to enjoy breakfast guilt free. Great hearing that you'll be visiting Sedona and the Cozy Cactus in the near future....you made our day! Tequila says cheers...

My wife and I stayed two nights on a recent trip to the Grand Canyon. The accommodations are very comfortable and we loved being able to hike right out the back door into the adjacent forest service land and follow any number of nearby trails. (Note: make sure you are on the patio at sunset. Light up the fire pit,...

What, only a glass of wine...two is nice, people are on vacation after all. :-) Thank you so much for sharing your experience and we too believe we've made new friends. One of the reasons we decided on a small B&B is that it would allow us to create an "at home" experience for our guests; it brings us true...

We spent 3 nights at the Cozy Cactus a month ago. What a gem! What's not to like? Mark and Carrie have thought of everything and go the extra inch to make guests feel welcome. They are nearby if there are questions, but not hovering. A perfect combination! If you have forgotten something in your travels, they have it. Walking...

Hi Indiana (hope you are staying warm)! Yes friends in deed! When we started this adventure 6 years ago, we figured that we'd be meeting lots of fun and interesting people (based on our personal stays at B&B's); what we didn't know at that time, is how many wonderful friends we would make. "Truly Priceless" Until next time (come on...

Since we spent 4 nights at the Cozy Cactus in March, there have been many wonderful reviews, all deserved! Highlights (and there were many) were the views and direct trail access to the Red Rocks, our spacious and comfortable Vortex Vista room, the hiking and golf advice received, the overall warmth and relaxed atmosphere of this B&B, the walkability to...

Well it certainly will be an international week during your 2015 stay; we already have three Countries booked with two rooms to go. I checked out the The Noetzie Suite (wow, I can see why you loved it, if we ever get to South Africa I know where we'll be staying). I believe, we had only rescued Tequila a couple...

Stayed at Cozy Cactus for 2 nights with another couple. We stayed in the cowboy condo with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and common kitchen/living room. Mark and Carrie thought of everything. Darn tootin' it was a grand time had by all. Carrie and Mark are amazing hosts. The place is beautifully decorated, clean; every detail is right. Mark started the fireplaces every night, from where we watched the moonrise. A path to the rocks starts right at their back yard. They provided lots of tips, prepared an amazing breakfast, and provided me with everything and more than I needed. Wonderful people;...
