The Lodge was comfortable, airy and elegant. The unspoiled location, the views and sunsets are spectacular. Food was excellent and the staff as well as the experienced guides went out of their way to look after us. Highlights included snorkeling at Cano Island, bird watching from the boat on the mangrove tour, watching monkeys on the suspension bridge and scarlet...

My husband and I have been to Costa Rica many, many times. We typically visit places where we have not been before. This was our first trip to Drake Bay and La Paloma Lodge. It will NOT be our last. This is an absolutely wonderful lodge. The amazing staff, Jamaica, Jose Pablo, Jose, Hernan, Lily and all the other hard...

La Paloma was ok. For the price we expected a bit more. The Drake Bay Area was beautiful and we loved the town! The tours we took while there were all amazing! We plan on going back to Drake Bay next year, but will be finding another resort to stay at.
