My husband and I stayed at Las Caletas Lodge 2 weeks ago for 3 nights. After reading all the positive reviews on tripadvisor, we had really high expectations, and they were all met and even exceeded. What a wonderful place in the most beautiful surroundings! David is a great host and is always available to answer your questions and to...

Secluded location set among incredible jungle and beach surroundings with monkeys and parrots at your feet and eyes! Unbeatable continental food, great management and quiet accommodations! Going on a tour or just relaxing on the beach....anything you do (or not) you will love!

The hotel, cabins and tents, lie on a hill overlooking the ocean. A boatride from the town of Sierpe will bring you there. The view, the staff, the stay, it's a great place. Excursions to Corcovado and snorkling trips possible by boat. Dinner is included. No menu, just what is served, but be assured it's good, vey good.

My 19-year old daughter and I stayed at Las Caletas for 5 days in January. I don't know why it's taken me this long to write a review, because all I've been able to think about since coming home is how and when I will be able to go back. Las Caletas is gorgeous, set on a hillside surrounded by...

Our family stayed in two tents, it was the best part of our Costa Rican vacation. The host was very helpful and provided great suggestions for hiking trails and river trips nearby. The howler monkeys in the morning made it feel truly wild. The common area lodge was so relaxing, we spent several mornings lingering over coffee and books. This...

This review is long overdue but so very much deserved. This morning, our son said that he had been thinking about Costa Rica and wanted to go back "to the same place we went last time!" Specifically: the Las Caletas Lodge! This was an amazing experience. Just getting there was an adventure (Indiana Jones-style tiny plane, then a boat with...

It was one of the best stays I have experienced in my travels. The owner was very friendly and provided us with helpful tips about the place. The chef was extraordinary, and every time I eat, I admire his food more. The beaches were quiet and clean, and there are types of animals. However, the WiFi was slow due to...

Corcovado itself is a fantastic and very special place. Great welcome by the owner and wonderful staff, wonderful food, wonderful service (incl. Christmas dinner) and fantastic atmosphere. There are refreshingly (relatively) few guests in this lodge and all eat by a long (and beautiful) table, which facilitates communication among guests and thus helps to create lovely friendly atmosphere that one...

We loved everything about Las Caletas -- It is about an hour by boat from Sierpe. We stayed in the honeymoon suite with it's own deck, hammock, table and chairs, bathroom, etc. (the one thing to note is there is a ceiling fan, but the window ventilation isn't exceptional, so might be hot later in the year...) The dining area...

Without any luxury pretentions, Las Caletas Lodge is a great place to stay if you decided to be Robin Crusoë for a few days. If you need comfort, hate bugs and not to change your way of life, be here for the beauty of nature and respect of ecology, book anywhere else and avoid Osa. This lodge has a welcoming...
