Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our 5 month stay here could not have been better. Yes there was the occasional smell from chicken farm across the road but it was only really bad only a couple times but gone in no more than 30 min Our biggest complaint was WIFI it sucks in that area. Not owners fault. We were a lil more than 20 min from Buckeye for friends and shopping. We did leave early b/c of covid and didn’t return in 2020 for same reason but 2021 we will be back. Everyone was very friendly

Really going down fast - absentee owner that doesn’t care about the customer ( tax write off?? ) they are going out of business ( big surprise ) we wouldn’t return - management blames all of the problems on the chicken farm and bad decisions on the owner This has been a nice park but management has run it into the ground

Got here at night the sight we were given is right down from the water treatment plans and the sewer plant. The spots are not level and the tiny concrete pad that they have isn’t even big enough for us to use to go in and out our main door. Worst part is we paid for a month before we got here and it’s non-refundable. So if you look at the trees in the pics and the big sites then you might wanna look some where else cause that’s only the front of the campground

Our first Arizona stop while snowbirding. Nice location on the outskirts, easily access from Highway. Reasonable rate for full hookup. Wifi connectivity was good. nicely laid out park, with easy access to the pull thought spot that we were assigned. We only had the one night, so didn't do a lot of exploring. Some reviews mentioned smells from local barns, but that wasn't anything that we noticed during our stay.

but most are friendly. Many trails for atv riding. Some have complained about the chicken farm odor but it was seldom noticeable. (all dependent on wind direction) Reasonably priced at $29 for full hookups.

Very nice park. Great price. Clean facilitys and plenty of pull throughs. Big level spaces. The best part is its dark. They don't have a ton of street lamps so not only is it great for sleeping it's wonderful for star gazing. 🌟

Stayed here from mid February through mid April 2018, with a 42’ fifth wheel, and was in Space 142 (50 amp/FHU). Great park at an awesome price! We have yet to find what we believe to be a perfect park but in our opinions this park is nearly that for what we look for. In the two months that we snow birded here all the office personal, long term/temporary neighbors were very pleasant and even helpful like park staff Dale. The sites are good size with plenty of space to park and to put out your awnings. Only once did we have a issue with water when they had a announced shutdown for a few hours to service a pipe, but no problem RVs do have fresh water tanks. Other then that, we had no issues with our hookups. OTA reception was great for all the important network channels and then some. The park is well maintain, clean, wide chip seal roads mostly and gravel/sand sites with concrete patios on most. We felt secure even though it’s located about two miles off I-10 and about 20 miles from Buckeye. There is a high fence and wall all the way around around the perimeter except the entrance which has monitored cameras and the park is well light. Yes you may read other reviews that say things about the smell from the chicken egg farm or about the flies being bad. I can tell you this, this is the country and on a few evening occasions and maybe early mornings I did smell the chickens and to me (I’m a country girl) it was acceptable. I would rather smell that then smog and other harmful pollutants. Now for the flies, again it’s the country, they do exist here but I’ve seen worst. Just keep the screens down, door closed and buy you a fly swatter. Great entrainment watching them pester the hack out of my two fur babies! The park does have most of the normal amenities like a swimming pool, pickleball/tennis/basketball courts, laundry room, propane refill, dog parks, bottle water kiosk, community building, library, and many many activities. If you like the piece and quiet of the Sonoran Desert and don’t mind the occasional fly and relatively short drive to the store, this is a great place to stay. If you have a ATV, don’t forget to bring it for some desert riding.

We were looking for a place to stay in the area for a week with our family of 3. We were told that we would not be allowed to stay because we had our 10 year old daughter with us. They told us we would only be allowed to stay overnight and that they do not allow more than 2 people for stays longer than one night.

Horrible smells, people running it are very unfriendly, keep going. There is a nuke plant right down the road, chicken process plant across the street. Besides the inherent risk and smells the people running it are very unfriendly. Keep going there are plenty of better campgrounds nearby that have nice people and no smells.

Sites are extremely large in comparison to all parks we have visited. Very friendly staff and residents. Much activity to get involved in such as walking groups to start the day, to morning coffee in the clubhouse, to shuffleboard, to exercise room, to pickleball, to the heated pool, to lunch, to the pool hall, spend a little time with your spouse and friends at happy hour, have supper, over to the activities center for pegs and jokers or Mexican trains or many other card or board games, go home @ 9pm, get some sleep so you can start again tomorrow. True description of the day so the next few days you will probably add in a four wheel ride into the desert, or a golf outing with a group that goes once or twice a week, a trip to the local casino for bingo, or better yet join in in the park's well attended Friday night bingo and ice cream social, spend some time in the craft room, the woodshop, or the rock shop creating. The chicken farm smell is not normally intrusive for daily activities, but I do agree that sleeping with the windows open at night could be an issue. I say go and enjoy a diamond in the desert.
