The hotel is just a short drive to the South Rim. Great location. Rooms were neat and clean. The breakfast buffet was a little pricey for me so chose to go outside. We ate in the bar downstairs. Food and service were fine. I would choose this hotel again.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here for two nights while visiting the Grand Canyon. We were very pleased with it, especially since it is one of the more reasonably priced hotels near the Grand Canyon. The room was fairly small, but comfortable. I liked that there was a vanity (no sink though)

We went in February. It was a nice quiet time of the year to go. We had a dog and they had special rooms with outdoor access just for four legged friends. Room amenities were nice, hotel was extra fancy for a BW. We would stay there again for sure.

The Best Western Premier GC Squire Inn was clean and its proximity to the GC national park is what sold us on staying there. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would stay there again, price was a little more expensive based on the ammenties that are provided, but like I said

Thank you for staying with us and sharing your feedback. Our location is so amazing, not just because of our proximity to the entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park, but because of our quaint town and National Forest. Trees like juniper, ponderosa pine, pinon pine, and wildlife like our elk are all features that make our outdoor space as memorable as the indoor space. We are happy you were able to enjoy your visit, and we look forward to seeing you again.

Has anyone stayed in the Economy Double rooms? What are they like?
I stayed in the double deluxe room with 2 beds. It was roomy and very clean. The entire property is well maintained and I don't think you could go wrong with any room you book here. Some rooms are within the "main building" and others are in buildings that are not directly adjoined to the main building, but very close to everything you would need (see pics posted with my review). I would suggest calling the hotel directly to book in a specific area.

They do a breakfast special, around 6 or 7 dollars. Although it is on the smaller side.

We didn't go with a tour guide, just drove to the south rim, which is practically down the street from the hotel. When we visited in April, it was difficult to get to the north rim. Can't remember if one of the roads was closed, but something you should look into. If you plan to go deep into the canyon, there are some tours that take you down on mules. September is a non-tourist month so you may get better rates and no problem booking. Obviously, if you call the hotel in advance and ask to speak with their concierge, they will give you valuable info. I did this in advance and it helped.
