We liked most aspects of our stay here at the Best Western; staff were courteous, the location is just minutes from the entrance to the Grand Canyon, and our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. A word of warning about grabbing a meal here. One...More

Thank you for staying with us and sharing your feedback. We appreciate your kind review!
We didn't intentionally book, it was through a 3rd party who we will happily confirm to them what a horrific experience we had.
Check in was fine, room is fine. Location is also fantastic for going to the canyon. But that is where it ends....More
I wasn't happy at all. We had the dinner buffet … it was less than awful. There was very little to choose from and most of it seemed to be warmed over frozen foods. All I kept thinking was, "Geeze, international guests stay here and...More

I stayed in the double deluxe room with 2 beds. It was roomy and very clean. The entire property is well maintained and I don't think you could go wrong with any room you book here. Some rooms are within the "main building" and others are in buildings that are not directly adjoined to the main building, but very close to everything you would need (see pics posted with my review). I would suggest calling the hotel directly to book in a specific area.

We didn't go with a tour guide, just drove to the south rim, which is practically down the street from the hotel. When we visited in April, it was difficult to get to the north rim. Can't remember if one of the roads was closed, but something you should look into.
If you plan to go deep into the canyon, there are some tours that take you down on mules. September is a non-tourist month so you may get better rates and no problem booking.
Obviously, if you call the hotel in advance and ask to speak with their concierge, they will give you valuable info. I did this in advance and it helped.
