Stayed at this property for two nights while on business. This facility is large. Encompasses several buildings. It has the feel of a larger resort. For a wintertime visit, the hotel was crowded. The room was comfortable, but not extravagant. The hotel was quiet and comfortable,

This hotel is clean, comfortable, and close to the South Rim entry point of the Grand Canyon. A shuttle bus conveniently stops right in front of the hotel. We bought park passes online and just hopped on the bus. Super easy. We ate breakfast in the buffet the first morning and

Stayed for one night during a visit to Arizona. Clean and comfortable room. The staff are fantastic from check in to check out. Unusual to find a bowling alley in the lower level, which was a blast. The fitness facility is not in the main building.

This property is older than I expected, there were minor broken elements in the room. The service was good, but the property was in need of renovations and we were placed in an outbuilding. All the amenities ,such as they were, were housed in the main building. The entire area

Thank you for staying with us and letting us know about your stay. We understand we failed to meet your expectations with regard to our decor and value. We apologize for your disappointment. We do have renovations scheduled for the end of the year for our exterior buildings, and guests looking for a more modern experience in the meantime can request a room in the 7000 building. For authentic rustic charm, a favorite will always be the Main Building. The sunken garden tubs are the best, and there is of course as you mentioned the convenience of being located near the restaurants, shopping, bowling alley, and arcade. With over six million visitors annually, our small town sees a lot of excitement and stays busy nearly all year long. We are in constant demand, thus we do see prices different than you might be used to. Areas like Williams or Valle do have lodging available, and your recommendations help guests make the most out of their research. Again, we apologize for your disappointment, and hope you will consider staying with us again so we can have another chance to show you how unique and special your stay with us can be with us.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was only for one night unfortunately, but it was great. We received a room upgrade to a junior suite which was wonderful. It was such a big room. we had a jetted tub which we took advantage of. It took forever to fill up, but it was great

Thank you for staying with us and sharing your review. It sounds like you enjoyed the room and were able to relax, however we have some work to do with regard to the cleanliness of the carpet. We also need to consider the communication we provide as this could have helped reduce confusion and disappointment. We apologize for our oversights and appreciate you letting us know how we can improve. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we hope we will have another chance to provide you with the best experience possible. Please travel safely until your return.

I stayed in the double deluxe room with 2 beds. It was roomy and very clean. The entire property is well maintained and I don't think you could go wrong with any room you book here. Some rooms are within the "main building" and others are in buildings that are not directly adjoined to the main building, but very close to everything you would need (see pics posted with my review). I would suggest calling the hotel directly to book in a specific area.

They do a breakfast special, around 6 or 7 dollars. Although it is on the smaller side.

We didn't go with a tour guide, just drove to the south rim, which is practically down the street from the hotel. When we visited in April, it was difficult to get to the north rim. Can't remember if one of the roads was closed, but something you should look into. If you plan to go deep into the canyon, there are some tours that take you down on mules. September is a non-tourist month so you may get better rates and no problem booking. Obviously, if you call the hotel in advance and ask to speak with their concierge, they will give you valuable info. I did this in advance and it helped.
