When I'm at the Grand Canyon, I usually stay at Mather Campground or simply wild-camp in the Kaibab forest. (If that interests you, the Tusayan ranger station just down the road will give you a map and good suggestions). Anyway, for S&Gs and because I'd heard good things, I thought I'd give Ten-X a try. I'm glad I did, and...

the campground itself was fine - simple shaded area, picnic table and fire pit but the toilets were not usable. the worse i've seen in any of the campgrounds we've stayed in. won't go back there just because of that.

Campsite number 68 The bad: This campsite was very primitive-- no running water and a port-a- potty for a restroom. There wasn't much privacy from one tent to another, however, the camp sites are pretty well spaced out. The good: The price was super cheap $10 per night! The scenery was nice. Fire pit & picnic table provided. Yes, I'd...

The campsites offered little privacy from other campers and the restrooms were simply glorified porta-potty type restrooms. No running water or showers offered. It was less than ten miles from the gate to the Grand Canyon entrance. I rate this a four simply because of the great location and price of campsite. Costing only $10 for a night.

This campground has the bear minimum for camping amenities. The bathrooms are pit toilets. You can pick your own camp site when you get there. The sites close to the main roads and the interior roads can be nosey. Some camp sites have no privacy from other sites. Over all this is a great place to camp. It is about...

Great campsites located just about 12 miles from the rim of the Grand Canyon South Rim. $15 a night for 1 RV, 1 Car, and one tent. Extra vehicles are $10/night. This is a very clean and well kept wooded campground with toilets, fire pits, barbecues, and picnic tables. The camp staff was kind and courteus. Not too far from...

What a beautiful campground. Definitely a gem!! If you can get past the pit toilets it's a great place to stay. We camped one night and enjoyed the scenery and how close it was to the Grand Canyon. The price was also great at $10 per night.

We stayed here for 3 nights 7-30-16 thru 8-2-16. This was sort of a last minute trip to Grand Canyon so we didn't have the option of staying at any of the campgrounds in the park which are reservation only. Inorder to stay at any of the park campgrounds you have to make reservations many months in advance. We were...

Decided to camp here with the family (2 adults,2 young kids 2&10yrs) while our visit to the Grand Canyon bc the campground in the canyon were booked. So glad we did, and we'll continue to stay here when we visit! Was away from the all the tourist and craziness of people going to Grand Canyon. It's self service but did...

We stayed here three nights on our visit to the grand canyon. The sites were spread out so you don't feel crowded at all. The site was level and access and set up were easy. We weren't there a lot, but it was very quiet at night and we saw huge elk twice, including one morning when they woke us...
