Stephen and David are incredibly welcoming and wonderful people! They made us feel at home in their lovely and cosy bed and breakfast. It's extremely peaceful and calm and absolutely beautiful. Everything was very clean and breakfast was perfect!! We really enjoyed our stay with them and are already looking forward to coming back! :) Thank you!!

The best place we stayed on our nine month trip around Europe, we will definitely be returning! I have just been looking through my photos of our trip around France and wishing I was once again enjoying the hospitality and beautiful surrounds offered at Le Moulin d'en Bas. We couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous place to stay. Breakfast...

The setting of the inn is bucolic and rural, with about three acres of yard, pond, and garden, surrounded by forested land. The inn is a building that at one time was a mill, and has been transformed into a small bed and breakfast, with modern bathrooms and WiFi, but keeping a quaint charm from the past. There is also...

You can easily reach this B&B in the lovely French countryside by a ~45 minute train ride from Paris (transfer in Orleans). The buildings are historic and quaint and are located in a park like setting surrounded by gardens and trees. The environment is very serene and tranquil and you can lounge in the gardens or take short walks in...

Moulin d'en Bas was one of my favorite vacations. I went with a group of 10+ women for an organized art and cultural experience. Moulin d'en Bas was home base for us as we had daily excursions scheduled. David and Stephan were the perfect hosts to welcome us in the morning with an amazing breakfast set for us. All tastes...

The Moulin d'en Bas is a restored Mill & Bakery and farm surrounded by lakes, rivers and forests - but just 1 hour and 20 minutes from Paris by train. I have stayed there twice and learned to love the area - plenty of small villages, chateaux, wineries and local farms. You are in the French countryside but always within...

As part of a group of master botanical artists from San Francisco, we always make time in our yearly travels to visit David and Stephen at this amazing location. Listed as a vacation property, it is actually their home which they open to all that visit. The environment is filled with the warmth and intimacy of long lost family. Welcome...

“The rooms upstairs in the old Mill are larger than the rooms in the Bakery. All bathrooms have been modernized and are ensuite. The Bakery is charming but those staying upstairs will be climbing a short flight of steep stairs. The entire place is very quiet.”
