Unfortunetly, half of the place was destroyed after the earth quake, the place has been closed since and is for sale ....anyone interested ? a shame because the place looks so nice, with nice gardens and beautiful trees and flowers. A big empty pool etc... I found a guest house just in front, and from my window I can see... More

Strategic location.. But property was too good to turn your tiredness into relishness.. Room was large and amenities were good. Pool was large and clean. You will find yourself in a true mood of holiday after being here. Staff were polite. Food was delicious. Overall excellent stay. P.S.: I'd visited the hotel at 2014.

I was there with my husband. We stayed there for a night. I wish we had stayed longer. Beautiful room. Breath-taking view from the balcony. Staffs were helpful and very friendly. We ordered room service for dinner. The food was great. And the breakfast in the morning was good. I'd definitely return the next time I am in Nepal.

The surrounding is perfect, the rooms are cozy and the swimming pool adds up to the beauty. The garden adds to the flavor of the hotel. The food is perfectly delicious. The location is slightly away from the noisy street of Kathmandu and hence gives you an quieter background and scenic village downhill.

Rooms very spacious. Staff courteous & attentive. Very clean inside & out. I stayed for two weeks solo, however it didn't feel that way as the staff were typical of Nepali people & very friendly & pleasant.

Godavari Village Resort is located in Kathmandu valley, 40-60 min drive away from the city. It seems to be mainly used for conferences and retreats – and that is what we used it for (though there were some larger tourist groups as well). The guestrooms are located in several houses spread across the slope of a hill, with a nice... More

Have been to this resort quite a number of times. On a clear day you can see the majestic Himalayas - a breath taking view. Was invited by the hotel owner to spend a night this time at the price of Greenwich Hotel that is owned by the same owner. Obviously they have done something to improve the hotel and... More
