Atitlan Villas was a perfect place to stay in Guatemala and to start our honeymoon. Mario and his team made sure all of our needs were met. The room was fantastic! Clean, spacious with a great view. The property is extremely quiet. A perfect way to decompress. We hiked to the coffee plantation with a local to keep us on...

The owners,Julio and Mario and the entire staff did everything to make this a perfect visit to the lake. We used their private shuttle from Guatemala City to the lake and return. My spanish is limited and I did not want to use public transport. The property is beautiful and the views are gorgeous. We spent every day touring villages...

Even before we arrived at the Villa, we knew our stay would be exceptional. Co-owner Julio spoke with us on the phone giving us advice and tips for our first visit to Guatemala. We were met at the airport by other co-owner, Mario, and transported to Antigua for one night and later transported to the lake the next day. Mario...

We are just about to complete a three day visit to this lovely hotel. Away from the hustle and bustle of some of the main villages. If you are up for a quite vigorous hike, check out the farm and cafe plantation at the top of the mountain behind the hotel. A special treat was the cooking of Jerry, a...

I'm chiming in belatedly to comment on our wonderful, two-night visit to Atitlan Villas in Feb. 2014. We'd traveled to Lake Atitlan before, but had stayed in Panajachel. While we loved our hotel in Pana (and it's proximity to restaurants, etc.), Atitlan Villas was a completely different, peaceful experience. The property is stunning and incredibly well cared for. Our family...

Atitlan Villas had to be, hands down, the most fantastic place I have ever stayed! This is the place that dreams are made of. I have to first say that Luis, the manager/host of the hotel, is an incredibly personable, helpful, kind, and easygoing person who never makes you feel like you're a bother and would go above and beyond...

This resort was absolutely amazing. The staff were very attentive. If you need a get-away vacation this is the place. The pool and hot tub was sweet, the food was wonderful and the surroundings unforgettable. You can also take daily boat/taxi trips to various towns around the lake. We had an assume adventure.
