Very nice bathroom.
How long does it take from Keflavik airport
This hotel is on the other side of the island, around 700km from Keflavik. That is at least 9 hrs driving, but most would take a few days to see the sites on the way. Icelandair is a chain of hotels around the island an there are many closer to Keflavik than this specific one.

Are there self service laundry facilities at the hotel or close by? Thank you!
Not sure about at the hotel but it is right in the middle of Eglisstadir which, although not a big town, likely has laundry nearby. I'd ask the hotel directly. All the staff speak English.

"Room 326 on top floor is quiet and at end of corridor"
"Rooms to the rear are quieter."
"Our room was situated out to the street which was ok. Would though rec. to the countryside."
"Suggest a room facing south on the top floor looking over the lake."
"Unusually the rooms facing the Highway were quieter than the ones facing the parking lots for the stores."
