Upon arrival after a 3 hour journey we were told that they had not received our booking. When the booking company rang the hotel they admitted that they had over booked. We just got a shoulder shrug and half hearted sorry from receptionist. Disgraceful.

I made a reservation by telephone on Tuesday for two nights (Wed and Thurs), the lady took the time to take my phone number to return my call when she had confirmed availability. Phone call was returned and room was reserved, with me providing credit card details. I arrived at the hotel on Wed after a long day's work to...

Beautiful setting in the countryside. Hotel is set back from the busy clubhouse via a tree lined path. Lovely big rooms and comfortable beds. Bathroom has toiletries and also complimentary bottles of water are in the room for you. No restaurant for lunch or evening meals is within the hotel, this is at the clubhouse a few minutes walk away....

I found Fernhill Hotel to be very well priced good food and lovely staff. It's not 5 star but worth the money great pint of guniness and great greens including a well kept course .You definitely need a car as you can tour from there .

My bathroom was the worst! If you showered, you wet the whole bathroom floor. This meant anytime I had to use the washroom I had to wear shoes. I found many spiders. In my menu, my bed, above my bed. The staff was very sweet. The breakfast was good. I would not recommend this hotel.

We were looking for a place in this area and everything was booked except this place and it was less that all of them. It was great. The rooms were very good, the staff friendly and helpful and the dining room incredibly good. No hesitations recommending this place. It is a little date but great.

Great find in a very quiet location near a small town 10 mins drive from Cork. Paid 70 euros which is about right, for that you get a decent size room, clean, quiet and overlooking the golf course. Breakfast good, choice a little limited but very decent quality. Must comment on the staff who where excellent and for the money...

Stayed here 15th of August for 1 night. We got the package deal of bed and breakfast and unlimited golf which was very reasonably priced. for 2 people. We had a beautiful room overlooking the golf course with a balcony ant to top it off we got to see the sun set. All I can say is it was magical....

Cheap, clean and friendly! Close to Carrigaline but still need to get a taxi if you want to go out to the bars. The bed was suprisingly big, odd time we could hear loud pipe noises but they didn't bother us much. We stayed one night €70 in August.
