My mother and I stayed at Smuggler's Creek Inn for 4 nights at the end of September and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The main focus here is the pub and restaurant which are deservedly known for the delicious and well-prepared food, served while you sit and absorb the incredible panoramic view of Donegal Bay and Rossnowlagh Beach. I would have... More

THe views and the staff were both the best. Food was excellent and the music that night was great. The rooms were good and good size bathroom. NO elevator but the staff were right there to help with luggage. We had a great time at this hidden gem and hope we can get bsck again. Rooms will not be quite... More

This little pub overlooks An amazing surfing beach. The view is fantastic and the food in the restaurant is just as good. Had lunch there with close family friends and phoned the service food and food to be exceptional

Heard so much good about this place so finally visited, just walked in and it wasn't too busy took 10 minutes and 3 members of staff to finally seat us, quite rude waitresses and very very slow service waited ages for food which then wasn't special at all, stunning views made up for it but I don't think I'll bother... Lovely spot to go on a sunny evening for a beautiful meal with an amazing view. Cosy feel and atmosphere inside in the Pub/Restaurant and lovely sitting area outside. One of my favourite spots to go for a romantic meal.

We recently visited this restaurant for a family birthday meal, we all enjoyed it very much except for the chips which were inedible, we were told it was the potatoes that were the problem. The view was amazing overlooking the lovely Rossnowlagh beach.

Just returned from lunch in the smugglers today. What a total let-down! I worked in the smugglers over 20 years ago when Connor Britton owned it. Back then the food, service and atmosphere was second to none. I know this because of the exacting standards we all adhered to. Manners, efficiency, quality of service and food standards were all top... More

I ate there recently with friends and was very impressed firstly with the view and secondly with the general look of the place. The original part of the pub has the typical old world charm you would expect and it would be easy to criticise the more modern extension for spoiling the look but it gives much needed space and... stayed overnight with friends. Comfortable room although a little dated, great selection of fish and seafood, welcoming staff and stunning views over the bay whatever the weather - arrived to drizzle but then watched beautiful sunset from the panoramic bar/dining room. 2 mins walk down to beach for plenty of fresh air !

4 of us had an excellent meal here on the29th August. The meal was so good that we booked the restaurant for the next night. We were suitably rewarded with a super meal in a brilliant location with fantastic views. I had belly of pork with fillet of pork. My friends had a main course of crab claws bad prawns.... More
