We visited here after taking in the Christmas market in Swords Castle. The markets were generally poor, with no free sample offerings from the food stalls. So, we brought our hunger to The 44. Initial service and greeting was lacklustre and insincere. Menus had to be asked for at the bar, but drinks were brought down to our table. We...

the 44 was recommended by a colleague based in our Dublin (swords office). it is very close to the airport which is great, but also not great as taxi drivers do not like doing short trips when they have waited in the airport line, and my taxi driver dumped me at a petrol station and told me to walk the...

The service here was brilliant. The bar manager Brian was most helpful, giving us tips on the best places to eat & drink in Dublin. Brian tried to book us a restaurant table at our preferred restaurant & even gave us a lift most of the way into Dublin. Very impressed overall & the Guinness was lovely.

The property is a large bar down stairs with a small hotel above. The bedroom was small but not cramped and with two windows was very light during the day. There is adequate hanging and shelf space but it is not designed for work. the work space has just space for a laptop and mouse. There are two chairs, neither is...

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms have been recently renovated and feel very modern. I had been looking at staying at the Hilton Dublin airport but the price was astronomical. I'm glad I chose to stay here instead. I saved over 500 dollars staying here. The staff are very helpful and the food in the bar was excellent....

This is right in the centre of swords and a €15 taxi ride from the airport. The rooms were nicely decorated and spacious enough for twin beds and suitcases. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and recommended places for us to go, we had drinks there the first night and were really well looked after. Breakfast was delicious and...

This is ideal before you brave the shops. Located right in the middle of Swords Main Street, a visit to the 44 couldn't be more relaxing. Efficient table service, complimentary newspaper and a half breakfast for €6.95, outstanding value. It came with tea, a little biscuit and a lot of peace and quiet. Lovely!
